Chapter 11 - Mysterious strangers
"Zytar! Wake the hell up!" A voice screeched out, snapping me awake. I glanced around to find Ty holding me securely in his arms. "Zytar, get out here, some crazy woman is looking for Jilly."
"Terri?" I called out sleepily, recognising her voice.
"Jilly, thank Xankaba. Would you please come out here? Zytar left the trap door unlocked but I couldn't get through this door." Terri prattled on while I tried to focus on anything. The main thing that occurred to me was how noisy I had been last night.
"Ty! I thought you said this room was soundproof." I thumped Ty on the chest knowing that he couldn't still be sleeping with all Terri's noise. He tucked his face against my neck and his breath tickled my skin.
"It is, if the trap door is closed. You smell so damn good Jilly." He kissed my throat and all my energy was caught up in his delectable lips.
"Zytar, I swear to Xankaba that I will tell Jilly all your deepest, darkest secrets unless you get up now." Terri's voice was overly sweet but it had Ty pulling away from me.
He muttered something under his breath. Before I could even attempt to get dressed, Terri had piled through the door. I shrieked and tried to cover up, Terri stared open mouthed at us while Ty calmly handed me my shirt and bra.
"You did a melding!" Terri accused as she looked between us in abject horror.
"Obviously." Ty stated calmly as he stood protectively in front of me. I used the opportunity to get dressed as quickly as I could.
"Why would you do that Zytar?" Terri's shock barely covered her disdain.
"That is simple Terrilian, she is my Mamishxan."
"She is human." Terri shoved a very unsubtle finger in my direction.
"I am well aware of that."
"Humans are not the same as Xyllenion people. They kill for sport, they kill each other, they eat meat, they are rude and uncouth beings." Terri shouted and I flinched.
"Thanks Terri, it's nice to know where I stand with you." I said coolly as I stepped from behind Ty.
"I didn't mean...." Terri trailed off but I didn't stand around to be insulted any further.
I could hear them clearly shouting in their Xicnon language but I left them to it. I had the perfect night with Ty. Now I was rather miffed that Terri had walked right in and completely spoilt that.
Walking into Ty's lounge room wasn't very helpful for me either. Dana sat on the lounge tapping her foot anxiously. She had a furious expression on her face. She turned at my approach, her short blonde hair flying around her face.
