He moved to turn the shower off, stepping out carefully before drying himself off. Out of habit, he covered up the mirror long enough to strap on his mask.
Quickly sliding into the slightly oversized pajamas, he moved the towel to the bin near the door before slipping out of the bathroom.
"HELLO MR. MASKED MAN!" A sudden voice broke him from his trance-like state, and he looked down to see a small child dressed in a skeleton costume. "DID YOU KNOW, IT IS-A SPOOKY MONTH!"
The child broke into a dance, before stopping with a wide grin. Lila stepped in behind the boy, and giggled softly.
"Ah, Skid- let's leave him alone for a bit, alright? He's still a bit shaken-"
"No, it's fine, ma'am" he interrupted, kneeling in front of Skid with a grin, though it was hidden by his mask. Skid only cheered quietly, before looking up to his mother.
"LET'S WATCH A SPOOKY MOVIE" he exclaimed, hopping up to take her hand and drag her off. Sal chuckled and stood, following the two carefully.
