He woke up, suddenly, staring around. The room was dark, the movie must have ended. Skid and Pump were on either side of him, gripping his sweater tightly. There was a blanker draped over the top of the three, and a note on the arm of the couch.

He picked it up, swiftly reading through it, before setting it down. Lila was out, hanging out with her friend. She must have gotten the blanket for them.

He hummed, moving to adjust the straps of his mask before carefully getting up, making his way to the kitchen.

Grabbing a cup, he got some water, lifting up his mask to drink it.

"Mr. Sally Face?" A voice mumbled, sleepiness causing the words to slur. Skid, he must have waken up when Sal got up. Quickly, he slammed his mask down, turning to the child.

"Hey, buddy, did I wake you? Is Pump still asleep" he asked gently, setting the cup down as Skid approached.

"No, he's awake." Skid mumbled, shrugging. "He's still waking up though. Where's mom..?"

"She's out right now, she'll be back soon. Are you two hungry? I can make pancakes."

That seemed to catch Skid's interest, as he seemed to perk up, nodding quickly.

"Yeah! I'll go get Pump!" He exclaimed, rushing off without giving Sal a chance to process.

He chuckled, shaking his head softly as he clipped his mask back on, before moving to get out everything needed for breakfast.
