The only reason Bakugo ever bullied him was to protect him from becoming a hero, so he doesn't die out there though he never tells this to Izuku. Though he will come to regret telling Izuku to jump off the roof. Now Izuku after leaving school goes a different way where a villain attacks him though Izuku is lucky to have All Might save him but wanting to ask All Might a question hitches a ride after realizing that he signed his notebook while knocked out. He catches a ride via All Might's leg as All Might feels this and lands on a building. Izuku asks if he can be a hero without a quirk with All Might saying no and that it's better to be a police officer or something of the sort.
