Chosen1: You didn't think to take
me with you? Rude!

starblack: My question is, why would I?

Chosen1: Cause I'm your fav and I'm so lovely?!

starblack: You're acting like we've known each other
forever, what's up with that?

Chosen1: We have, Starling! Sirius and
Remus are literally my dad's partners
in crime

starblack: Oh, yeah! Remember when you
practically stuffed sand down my throat and I
coughed up blood?

Chosen1: Ok, deserved!
Chosen1: Sorry about that, Starling!
Will a date make up for that?

starblack: A couple of years too late, Harry.

Chosen1: My, oh my! I got a Harry, not a Potter!

starblack: Don't get used to it.

Chosen1: Question?

starblack: Shoot.

Chosen1: Where are you?

starblack: No way.

Chosen1: Please!

starblack: N-n-n-nooooo!!!! Way!!!

Chosen1: I'll bring you more coffee!

starblack: ...
starblack: Library, left back corner
starblack: One cream, two sugars

Chosen1: Gotcha!

starblack: Don't make me regret this

Chosen1: Can't make any promises!

STAR REALLY, TRULY THOUGHT she should have not said yes to that offer. But, she really wanted more coffee. Her supply was almost fully gone and she was not going to leave her place of comfort for her to come back and see someone else in her beloved seat. He was her last hope, and he was not a good one. If Starling Lupin-Black and Harry Potter were the last two people on this green Earth, she would abandon him and die alone. It's not like she had a solid reason not to like him, either. He was too perky, too loud, and entirely too much to handle. She definitely wasn't quiet, but she was not as loud as him.

"Starling!" A voice whisper-shouted from behind her.

She turned in her seat. "Why do you insist on calling me that?"

"You never went against it," He shrugged.

"Well, I'm going against it now!"

"Too bad," He slumped into the seat right next to her with a 'hmph'. "Here's your coffee, Starling!"

"Thanks," She mumbled.

"I'm sorry, my hearing's bad today! What'd you say?"

"Thank you."

"Just a little louder."

"Thank you!" She quipped, loudly. Madam Pince peaked around the corner and shushed her before walking off.

"Look what you made me do! Do you know how long I've tried to get that woman's respect? Since the first year and now I'm in my fourth! You've ruined me, I can't wait until you graduate!" Star whispered harshly.

"Hey! That was dramatic and everyone knows it, even you!"

"Whatever," She rolled her eyes and went back to her book. Her peace and quiet lasted for approximately two seconds before Harry whispered in her ear.

"Whatcha readin'?" His mouth was dangerously close to the shell of her ear.

"Dune. Now leave me alone."

"What's it about?"

"Read it and find out," She whispered to him, the annoyance clear in her voice.

"Fine!" He snatched the book out of her hand, stood up, and raised it in the air.

"Give me back my book!" She grumbled from her seat.

"Can you say pretty please?" He fluttered his eyelashes down at her.

"No."

"Then I guess you won't get Dune back." He shrugged.

Star stood up from her chair and glared at his tall figure for a second before grabbing his red tie and shoving her face into his. His startled look almost made her laugh out loud. With her free hand, she grabbed her book before grabbing her things and storming off.

"That was probably the most unexpected thing that could have happened to me today," Harry mumbled to himself before walking off as well.
