My brother left me with more questions than answers. "Silent Wolf", what the hell did that mean? Was he a silent assassin who took out rogue wolves? Regardless, my brother made it seem like he was bad news and to me that means he was bad news for Thea as well. Like father, like son, I guess. Nope, not even, because apparently, alpha Mattis was not even able to have kids. Shit! Nothing makes sense right now, I internally snapped approaching Roland's condo building.

As I approached Roland's door my heart was racing with excitement just to see him. It's been over a week since we've last seen each other and my wolf was begging for a release and me of course.

I was just about to knock on the door when my phone went off. Thankful for silent mode, I stepped a few feet away from Roland's door to answer the phone without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?"

"What's up bitch!" I hear Maddie sing song with excitement. The girl can be annoying and have awful timing as well, but I knew she meant well.

"You're timing is awful right now, Maddie." I whispered yelled since I was still in the hallway and a few feet away from Roland's door.

"Well shit, how the hell am I supposed to know that? And who answers the phone when they are fucking busy?"

Ok, she had a point.

"Alright, get to the point of your call." I had my own business I needed to tend too, and these girls were not going to cock block me this time.

"Let me tell her." I hear Remi say in the background.

"I'm on the phone now, why would I do that when I can easily just tell her!" There she goes again with her sassy ass mouth.

"HELLO!" I growl into the phone and almost kick myself for being so damn loud.

"Right, so Remi and I had the pleasure of meeting Ty's mom, with the help of one of Remi's ...well fuck buddies. Anywho, we had to play it off as if we were searching for our mates and she happened to be the delta in her pack and was gracious enough to walk us through the packhouse and so on."

I was hoping this conversation would eventually have a point as I was becoming impatient as she babbled on and on about the packhouse and how perfect and nicely decorated it was.

"So, she finally brought us into the sitting room, as she called it and we sat and had some tea and cookies, which by the way were fucking amazing!"

"Maddie, get to the point please."

"Right, so she started talking about her son not meeting his mate and always being MIA and she wanted us to possibly stay to meet him and of course Ms. Hot ass over here was like, I would love to meet your son," I heard Remi whining in the background about her not paying much attention and was trying to play along and Maddie of course, cursing her out as usual. "So, I asked her to tell us more about him and his background. Well, that seem to catch her off guard for some reason, but this lady was like legit honest!"

"How so?" I really needed this conversation to end quickly.

I heard a commotion over the phone and a few popping noises from the speaker. "You bitch!" I heard Maddie yell out. "I can't believe you used your damn powers on me! Get me down now!"

"Not until I finish the story." Remi says, who I guess is now in possession of the phone. "Kar, she told us the whole story about Kumori and she mentioned his beta and how she lost her virginity to the beta and then not too long after met Kumori, who so happened to be her damn mate!"
