Malhotra Mansion
There was a long silence in Malhotra Mansion only sounds of footsteps, and utensils were heard other than no one was speaking.
It was the evening of Friday, Shaan, Kabir and Dipti were Waiting for the Head of the family to come means The eldest Malhotra of the family, Shaan Malhotra's Mother.

Shaan and Kabir were happy and impatiently waiting for her but on the other side Dipti was restless, Her mother in law has some serious issues with her and she knows when she will come they all will have to go according to her.
"Yug is not coming?" Shaan asked Kabir.
"Dad, Bhai said he will come tomorrow morning to meet dadi as he has a weekend holiday" Kabir told to which he nodded and took a glance at Dipti who just rolled her eyes hearing the conversation but soon sat straight when she heard a car horn.
The trio stood up and looked at the front door waiting for the lady to enter the house.
Soon they found a lady in her 70s entering the house, She was Meenakshi Malhotra the head of the family.
A lady was standing at the entrance, her old age was reflected on her face by the wrinkles, she was wearing a yellow color cotton saree, her body wasn't fit but not tired too, and she has enough energy to still order around.
"Mom!" Shaan called his mother with a big smile on his face and went to hug her.
She smiled and hugged her son.
"Sexy lady!" Kabir exclaimed before going to hug her.
"Kabir! How are you? my child" She asked, her voice was cool and calm just like Yug but the difference was she has some dominance plus.
"I'm good! How are you dadi?" He asked breaking the hug.
"I'm here fit and fine!" She smiled
"Mom!" Dipti approached her and took her blessings, the smile on Meenakshi's face dropped and her face turned straight.
She gave her blessing but her voice was not pleasant.
"Maa let's sit and talk!" Shaan said to avoid the awkwardness creating around, she nodded and they all went towards the couch.
"Where is Yug?" Meenakshi asked not finding her elder grandson.
"Dadi bhai will come tomorrow morning" Kabir informed.
"He still doesn't?" She asked to which he just shook his head in a negative with a defeated face.
"Fine let him come in the morning!"
"Shaan, where is the small cactus I left before going? I told you to keep it in the living room near that entrance table" Meenakshi asked when her eyes fell on a table near the entrance, her voice was hard.
Shaan looked at Dipti who gulp hard in horror.
"M-Mom w-wo I-I thr-threw it out, as it brings negativity in the house!" Dipti stuttered knowing her very well.
"Negativity is in your head! With whose permission you threw that plant? All these superstitions will not work with me till I am here!"
"Shaan, I want the same type of cactus tomorrow anyhow!" Meenakshi told him.
