"Yug, What were you doing inside the trolley?" Yug became numb at his place after realising who it belongs to.
"Yug, turn to me" the voice came up making him gulp, he slowly turned to the person while his condition was not so good.
"D-D-Dad"
"What happened to you? Why is your face so red? And why is the Haldi on your cheek?" Shaan asked making his eyes go widen, now he regrets being so much bold at once, She made him do what he never in his dreams expected to do.
"Yug!" Yug came out of his trance when Shaan called him again, he was looking at his son suspiciously.
"Wo-wo-woh I- I was finding the car key" he said with a nervous smile making his father look at him more doubtfully.
"Why? Are you going somewhere?" Shaan asked him instantly.
"N-No I mean Y-Yes.. I mean I w-was about to go.. to buy something" Yug lied Nervously.
"Buy? What? We have already bought everything!"
'Dad, Stop investigating like I am a Criminal!' He thought in his mind because he can't say this to his father but he also can't tell his father that he was sitting in a very imitating position in that trolley with his (Shaan's) soon to be daughter in law... Ager author ne chaha toh 🙃
"You again lost! What are you thinking?" Shaan interrupts his thoughts.
"D-Dad, I-I need to buy some daily stuff that I forgot to bring" this time he lied smoothly.
"Ohk, But what happened to your face? Why it's so red? Looks like a tomato wearing a yellow dress" Shaan chuckled making him bite his lower lip in embarrassment.
'If I tell you the reason, you will become redder than me!' he muttered
"Huh? Did you say something?" He asked
"No! No! I will go, Kabir must be asking for me" Yug replied and was about to go when Shaan stopped him.
"Wait!" Yug looked at his father with a please let me go 🙏🏻 face.
"Umm, Go some other time, not today, you will be needed here!" Shaan told him making his eyebrows crashed in confusion.
"I don't think there is any kind of ritual where I am needed in Kabir's haldi" Yug replied awkwardly because of the tone Shaan used, Shaan has always used an asking tone with him but today he sounded clear and cut more like he ordered him.
"It's not related to Kabir's Haldi, It's something related to you!" He replied making him drown more in confusion.
