Set during Age of Ultron. Au where Vision dies in this.
"We did it Pietro! We....." Clint said as Pietro was shot by one of Ultron's minions. He fell to the ground and Clint ran towards him.
"Stay with me Pietro. Please." Clint sob.
He felt Pietro's lift then dropped.
Pietro's...... dead. Clint thought. Am he could to was cry and cry and cry.
Clint never got to tell Pietro that he loved him. Laura left him because he was Bi and she took the kids with her. He had lost evrything. He cried and cried for weeks on end.
Its been 2 months since Pietro died and he started to cry. Wanda knocked on his door and he tried to wipe his tears.
He went to the door and opened it.
"Hey Wanda! Need something?"
"Yea," She responded.
"Come, sit down."
"Clint? Are you okay?" Wanda asked.
Clint sighed. He wanted to say he was perfectly fine but for some reason he couldnt lie.
"I wish I was."
"It's going to be okay, Clint."
"No it's not okay!" Clint exclaimed, "Pietro's gone and he's never coming back!"
"What...What if I told you there was?"
"What....?"Clint said. He got angry at the fact that she knew a way but never told him. He was so filled with rage, they're was no way to describe how he felt. He felt sad, mad, and happy all at the same time. He just want everything to go back the way it was before Ultron.
"Listen, before you...." Wanda said.
"No you listen!! He's been gone for 2 months now. And you had the audacity not to tell me!"
"Clint, I never told you because the only way to bring Pietro back.. is... for someone to give up their life."
"So... that's why?" Clint asked.
"Yea.... I'll leave you alone now. I just, wanted....to t-tell you." Wanda said as she started to cry.
She was about to leave Clint's room but she was stopped by him.
"Wanda, what's wrong?" Clint said worriedly.
"Wanda wait."
