Sonic pov
When I woke, I was back in my normal form, with Luna close by me, in my arms. I then remembered about what had happened the night before... "S-she is my partner now" I said in a whisper. I then looked down and noticed that she didn't have any clothes, I started to blush madly at the sight. I then got up quickly and quietly, to try and find her some clothes. I then looked inside a closet and found a light blue dress. "Luna, I found you something to wear" I said. Luna then woke up and looked at what I was holding. She then got up and took the dress, and put it on. "Heh, you look cute in it" I said. She then gave a small smile to me; when then left the room and started to look around for a kitchen, to try and get some food.
A few hours later at the mansion ( yes, they are back at the mansion)
No pov
"Sonic,sonic,sonic!" a voice yelled. Sonic then turned from where he was, and looked over to where the voice was coming from. It was from his best bud, Tails. "Hiya tails, what did you need" sonic asked. "Sonic, this is very urgent for you and Luna to come to the university" tails said. "Um, sure but are you going to explain why" sonic asked. "No time" tails said.
An hour later
"I'm so sorry for having to you all come here on such a short notice" professor said. "It's alright professor, whatever it is, we can figure it out" tails said. "Well, I really do hope that you can, because I have some horrible news to share" professor says. "Well, what happened, has eggman stolen something" sonic asked. "No, it is much worse... DARK GAIA has been unleashed once more" professor said.
-At the moment there was silence.
No one said anything, they were shocked that a powerful being had come back, without being forced...
"So, let me get this straight" sonic said as he got up. "Your saying that DARK GAIA has somehow come back, and it may not have been by eggman, and that it could have been by someone or something else... which also means that Ch- LIGHT GAIA, has also come back as well". "Yes, that is correct" professor said. "But why would DARK GAIA have returned, if not by a force like eggman, then would it have been time for it to come back on its own terms then" shadow said. "Yes, that could be a possibility, but it is uncertain" said professor.
Suddenly then was a bright glow coming from Sonic's wrist. "S-sonic, you wrist it's glowing" Amy said. "Oh, don't worry, I know exactly who it is" sonic said. "You do, who is it" Luna said. Sonic then took off what was glowing on his wrist, and throw it up to the air, as it spun, a form started to appear. "Ha,ha,ha, look sonic, I'm back" a voice said. "Hiya, chip" sonic said.
Everyone then looked at sonic puzzled.
"Oh, right you guys never met him, when the earth had spilt apart" sonic said. "Guys, this is Chip, he helped me defeat Dark Gaia when eggman had caused the earth to separate and I had transformed into a Werehog at night" he said. "Nice to meet you all" chip said. Everyone then waved at Chip.
Suddenly there was a loud explosion over in the distance of the forest. " I'm assuming that it is doctor eggman" professor said. "Yeah, and it seems like he's up to no good again" sonic said. Everyone then ran to were eggman was, except for Luna. "Luna, are you alright" sonic asked. "N-no, my body is aching, and I'm not sure why" she said. "Here, you just stay here, with the professor, while me and the others deal with eggman" sonic said. Luna nodded very slowly. Sonic then ran and caught up with the others, and fought eggman and his robots.
A few minutes later
When sonic and the others came back, Luna was in great pain, and was lying on the floor, holding her head and stomach. Sonic then ran over to her. "Luna what's wrong" he asked. "I- I don't know, I'm just feeling a giant pain coursing through my body, it's hurts so much" she said. "Tails, professor we need to run test now" sonic shouted. Tails, and professor , then run sonic and the others to a testing room for Luna. Sonic then placed her down on the medical table. Chip followed closely behind. He then flew over to sonic. "Sonic, I think I may know what is happening to her" he said. "Y-you do, what's happening to her" he asked. "It's Dark Gaia, they has chosen her as their new vessel" chip said. "WHAT" sonic shouted. Luna, then fell off the medical table and landed on the floor. Sonic then rushed over to her. "S-sonic, don't come anywhere near me" she said.
Suddenly dark clouds and smoke started to form around Luna. "Get back, don't get anywhere near her" professor said. Luna then started to change, as their body became more muscular and stronger. They started to form quills similar to sonic and shadows. Shadow then took notice of the changes happening. "S-she's changing, and becoming more like a male hedgehog" he said. The others then noticed this also. Shadow then turned to sonic. "Sonic, do you know where Luna had come from" he asked. "No, I don't know where she came from, she never really talked about her past much to me, or anyone" sonic said. Shadow then turned back, and looked at Luna. He then stated that walk up to what was now only a husk, trapped with smoke surrounding it. "I think I may know where she came from" shadow said, as he cupped his hands around the husk face. "Y-you do, where did she come from" tails asked. "She was created like I was, from the Black Arms, and from Doctor Eggman's grandfather" he said as he looked at everyone.
Everyone was in shock as to what shadow had said. Shadow then turned back, to who was now in front of him, looking straight at him in the eyes. The dark husk then fell, to the floor from being on his knees. Shadow then got down on his own knees and picked up, the dark husk, and pulled him close, and placed him in his lap. Shadow the put up his hand up, with his claws showing, as to stop anyone from coming closer, especially sonic. "I suggest that you don't try and touch him, as him touching you, or you touching him, could be very dangerous" he said. "But, dear, what about you, are you not effected by this" rouge asked. "No, rouge I am not effected by this, I know that at the moment sonic wants to hold him very badly, but he will need to be around someone, who has the same energy as him, as he won't be attacking me when he wakes up, but he may try and attack you all" shadow said, as he looked at sonic, and the others. "Oh, yeah, he's gonna forget about everything, and everyone except me" he said with a sly smile.
"WHAT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN HES GONNA FORGET ABOUT EVERYONE, HE'S GONNA FORGET ABOUT ME, AND THAT WE WERE DATING" sonic shouted. "Yes, sonic he is going to forget about everything, and everyone, including about you guys dating" shadow said calmly. Sonic the started to pace back and forth, mumbling to himself.
Shadow then looked down at the husk his was holding, as it started to fall asleep, in his lap. He then pulled him closer to his chest, as he felt his heart beating slowly.
