Next morning
It was early in the morning, when the husk transformation was complete. Shadow then looked down, and saw a black mobain in his lap. He then realized that it was Luna, or what had been her. Since she was different now, and had a new form, she would need a new name. The husk then woke, and looked up at shadow. It then growled at him, and quickly got out of his lap, and ran out the testing room. "Oh, for f*cks sake" shadow said. He then got up, and quickly ran after the husk. Once the husk was out of the room, he saw sonic and the others, and was about to attack, when shadow grabbed him and pinned him to the ground. Sonic then turned around and saw what was happening. "Shadow what's going on, why are you tackling him" sonic said. "Would you rather it be that I let him kill you all, or would you prefer me to not let him kill ya'll" shadow said. Sonic then gave a sheepish expression, as the others entered into the room. The husk then pushed shadow off of him, and tried to attack again. But this time, shadow had been at his breaking point, he then ran on all four, and pushed the husk into the wall and pinned it, using his claws. "Shadow, dear, what happened" rouge asked. "NOW IS NOT THE TIME, ROUGE" shadow said. Shadow then looked at the husk in front of him, he then unpinned his claws around him, and picked him, and put him over his shoulder. By this time, shadow was in his Black Arms form, with his long tail behind him. "Ya, little piece of sh*t, f*cking pain" he said. He then sat down on the couch, placed the husk in his lap. "We're gonna have to give you a new name" shadow said. "But first, you need clothes" shadow said. "Hey, rouge can you go to my room and grab a pair of socks and fingerless gloves for me" he asked. "Sure,hun" rouge said. She then flew up to shadow's room, and grabbed what he needed, she then went back down and handed it to him. "Thanks, rouge" shadow said. Shadow then helped the husk put on the gloves and socks. He then snapped his fingers and made a pair of Inhibitor rings appeared. He then put them around the husk wrist and ankles. "Alright, that should do it, now we need to give you a name" shadow said. Sonic and the others then gathered around on the couch and chairs, and started to think of names. "Hmm, how about Vendetta" sonic said. At that moment, the husk then perked up his ears, at the mention of the name. "Sure, he seems to like it, and he did a pretty fast reaction to it" shadow said.
4 weeks later
Shadow pov
- For the past couple of weeks, Vendetta has been relearning how to live, and help those around. But he has been acting strangely lately, like he's talking to someone, that none of us can see.
Sonic pov
"Hey, Shad's, does Vendetta seem off to you" I asked shadow. "Yeah, I've noticed it, and probably everyone else has as well" he said. I decided that it would be best to hold a staff meeting. "Hey, guys could you all come here, for a moment" I said. "I'll go and grab Vendetta from his room" shadow said. I then nodded and watched him go up stairs, while everyone else was coming down to the living room.

Once shadow was up the stairs, he then walked over to Vendetta's room, as he did, he started to hear voices. He then knocked on the door, and patiently waited for the door to open, a moment later, Vendetta had opened the door. "Hi, shadow do you need something" he asked. "Yeah, Sonic wants us all to meet down stairs for a meeting" shadow said. Vendetta then nodded and opened his door all the way, and stepped out of his room, and followed shadow down stairs to the others.
Vendetta and shadow then sat down on chairs, while they waited for sonic, on what he was going to say. Sonic then cleared his throat and spoke " Okay, Vendetta, to keep this simple and straightforward, are you talking to someone we don't know" he said. "What, n-no, of course not" vendetta said. "Vendetta don't lie, we all can here you, when you talk, it's like your having a conversation with yourself, or with someone who doesn't exist" tails said.
Suddenly, there was an explosion coming out far from the town, where they were staying with the professor. "We'll have to continue this discussion later, right now we need to see what that was about" sonic said. Everyone then nodded in agreement, and ran out of the university. Before everyone left, shadow and sonic stopped Vendetta. "If your going to fight, your going to have a weapon to fight with" shadow said. "I asked professor to make this specifically for you, to use" sonic said. Sonic then handed Vendetta a pair of sickles. Vendetta then looked down at sickles in his hands.
Vendetta pov
" So, what's stopping you from getting into my clutches" a voice said. I then looked up at sonic and shadow. "Okay, I'll try them out" I said. Sonic and shadow then nodded at me, raced out the door to meet the others. "Hmm, what's wrong, aren't you going to fight, because I can tell that you'll be needing me" the voice said. I then ran out the doors and caught up with sonic and the other as they were fighting eggmans robots.
Eggman pov
"Ha,ha,ha, wow sonic, I never thought you and your friends would actually fall just from trying to stop me" I said. I then over and saw Luna or now 'Vendetta'. Oh, will you look at this, your little friend has come to stop me, ha,ha,ha- robots attack him" I said. My robots then charged at Vendetta, as he prepared to fight.
My robots then shot at him, and started to fire cannons and lasers, as he tried to not get hurt.

"My,my,my, it seems that your in a very difficult situation, my little rose" I said. I was inside of my host mind. I then walked over to him, as he was limp on the floor, blood pouring out of his mouth, I then cupped my hands around his face, and looked at him. "My, you look so beautiful covered in blood" I said. "Would you like for me to help you and your friends" I said. Vendetta then nodded slowly as to answer. I then laughed- "You, would need to give me complete over you, and you know how I get, when I have control over you" I said. "I-I understand, what you want" he said. "I'm so glad we came to an agreement my dear" I said as I hugged him close.
Sonic pov
I could only watch and cry, as me and everyone else saw Vendetta get attacked and trampled on by Eggman's robots. "Ho,ho,ho, it seems that the fun is about to end, your little friend won't be able to survive this" he said. Eggman, then called up a large to go and crush vendetta. "No, don't do it" I yelled at him. "To late, sonic" he said. I then turned and saw the giant robot had stepped down on were Vendetta was. There was a loud crushing sound, that everyone heard. Everyone was screaming and crying, and in shock as to what they just saw, while eggman was laughing. Suddenly I started to feel the earth, shake and rumble, as I saw slashes, going across the giant robot, and the smaller robots. Me and everyone else, even Eggman were all confused about what had happened. I then saw a tall figure standing in front of me. The figure then got down on one knee and looked at me, I then realized who it was. "Vendetta, is that you" I asked. Vendetta then got up, and turned to the large robot in front of him, he then ran at it, with full speed and sliced it in half. The robot then fell to the ground and exploded, suddenly vendetta started to laugh. "God, that was such a rush of adrenaline" he said.
Shadow pov
When I heard Vendetta's voice, it sounded like two people talking at once, almost like it was someone controlling him. He didn't look like himself... he looked like he was going to kill someone. "What, impossible, how were able to destroy my robot, that was to final give me a win against sonic and his friends" eggman shouted. When vendetta looked at eggman, it was a dark death glare, suddenly eggman was filled with fear, and so was everyone else.
