Dear Matt
I can't believe how much happened today.
Dad hit me again when he found out I was going out.
At least I only got a bloody nose, so no one would really notice.
I actually had fun.
Well, I felt less sad, but that counts as fun for me.
The dinner was great, that's probably the most I've eaten in a while.
It was nice of you to walk me home.
You know how I told you I'm not scared of the dark anymore?
I never got to explain why.
It's because there are monsters far worse inside of me than there could ever be hidden in the darkness.
