Break ~fluff~

hi! before you continue, please read this, especially if you didn't read the description of this book! this is a one shot book where I will write quick paperhat stories (just doing paperhat) from ideas I get either from my head or from the people who want to request. this is mostly just for writing experience and for when I'm feeling extra creative some nights, so don't expect a one shot everyday. also, I will be doing fluff, lime, smut, all of it. also for requests, I will not do yours if it involves anything weird like no consent, fetishes, or stuff that's not paperhat (especially 5.0.5 related). anyway, I hope you enjoy this pretty long and detailed fluff shot! <3

     Dr. Flug never really felt overworked until now. All the sleepless nights and missed meals finally caught up to him, hitting him in all his weakest points. He got up and walked to his bedroom quietly, knowing he shouldn't bother Black Hat, especially at these hours. Flug sighed, opening the door and collapsing onto his bed. He looked at his clock, 4:36AM. He has exactly 1 hour and 24 minutes till he has to start working on his new invention again that Black Hat assigned him to create. He decided he would sleep until the time came. He closed his eyes, quickly falling into a deep sleep.

     Flug rubbed his eyes as he listened to his alarm clock sounding, eventually getting up and turning it off. The clock read 6:30AM. He felt so exhausted that he almost fell over while trying to stand up. He still had his work clothes on since he was just napping and not getting into a long rest, so he didn't need to go into his closet. Flug walked out of his bedroom heading to the kitchen, not knowing the last time he actually took the time to get water or food. He quickly got a cup of water, knowing Black Hat would be checking up on him to make sure he was working and not procrastinating. He chugged the water and took an apple on his way out of the kitchen. He opened the door to his lab and quietly closed it. He sat in his chair and started to work on his invention again. His body felt weak and hardly awake. He slightly lifted his bag to take a bite of the apple, feeling weird about it since he hadn't eaten in so long. He groaned and laid back in his chair, apple almost falling out of his left hand, his eyes feeling ever so heavy. Soon, he felt his eyes close and he quickly started to drift into sleep, until he heard the familiar sound of Black Hat walking down the hallway to his lab. "Dang it." Flug muttered under his breath, quickly getting back to work and throwing the halfway eaten apple into the trash so Black Hat wouldn't get angry. But, he noticed something. Black Hat's footsteps weren't as abrasive and scary as they usually were. This was a dumb thing to notice and think of, but the last time Flug heard footsteps like those was when he had to take a three day break because of a bad sickness he had, and that's the last time he ever saw Black Hat actually worry about him. He waited to hear the sound of his lab door being pushed open and seeing a intimidating demon watching him. But instead, it was the complete opposite. Instead he saw the door quietly being opened and shut behind Black Hat. He had the same angry face he usually has, but you could see a hint of... sadness? Guilt? Black Hat turned to Flug, avoiding eye contact. "I saw you took a nap earlier without asking first. Care to explain?" Flug then quickly looked away, looking shameful because he forgot to ask and because he took a nap in the first place. "I-I-I'm sorry, Jefecito. It w-won't happen ag-" "Take a break, Doctor. You have till tomorrow morning. I want the ray done by Thursday. Don't let me regret this, or else you will regret it." Black Hat said before quickly opening the door and leaving to go back to his office. Flug was stunned, so stunned that he said "What?" aloud. He analyzed everything that just happened, the footsteps, the door, Black Hat's mannerisms and the look on his face, his words, it just didn't make sense. But he decided to do as he was told and take a much needed break. He opened the door, no one to be seen. He walked to his bedroom and quickly got into pajamas and flopping onto his bed, planning to sleep the rest of the day away.

-Time Skip to Midnight-

     Flug woke up to hearing a slight ruffling sound beside him, and feeling movement. He waited till his eyes adjusted to the darkness to look beside him to see someone very famil- "Black Hat?!" Flug said in shock, but not too loud because he was still drowsy. In front of him was his boss, but not as he usually sees him. He was under the same blanket as Flug and in the same clothes just without his cape and without some of the more formal undergarments he usually has on. He also still had his hat on. His boss, who was always yelling, never showing happy emotions and affection, and just overall angry and annoyed 99% of the time was laying on the other side of his scientist, asleep. Sleeping. Not awake. Peacefully. Flug couldn't help but be flustered and blush under his bag from confusion but also from... cute rage? Attraction? Flug couldn't help but think that his boss looked incredibly cute like this, but also quite... hot. What am I thinking?? Flug thought to himself, quickly looking away and pulling himself back under the blanket, processing everything and blushing very hard. Is this a dream or reality? No way this is real. He pinched himself and now he definitely knew this was real. Real life. Not even 5 minutes later, Flug feels an arm wrap around his hips and a body start to spoon him. Flug definitely could not keep himself from feeling very flustered and also blush like crazy. Soon, he adapted to the feeling of affection he hasn't felt since he was a teenager, and embracing it. Flug couldn't help but accept the fact that he really enjoyed this, especially because he was getting this affection from someone he's always wanted affection from. Slowly, he lifted his hand and held Black Hat's, making Black Hat cuddle him closer. And eventually, Flug fell asleep once again, very happy.
