Henry's POV

Never thought the ink realm would be ruled by my old business partner's daughter. She's just like Joey, her temper, attitude, everything! Audrey is just like a copy and paste of him. Because she is very young and mentally not ready to rule the ink realm yet, I help her handle the world.

However, since Audrey restarted the cycle, she thought of a way to make sure we all remember what took place the last time. Somehow, weirdly, Joey Drew's "Memory" is still here, but he refuses to help with anything because he's afraid to mess up again.

Since Audrey took over, the lost ones and all of us down in the ink realm can travel up to the real world and back down here. Audrey has done a lot of things to make this ink world better again. I'm very proud of her.

As I pack up my bag to go leave for the store I felt like someone was lingering, watching me. "Who's there?" I turned around in a 360, and walked out behind a corner was a middle age man with black hair. "Sorry to disturb you, Henry. I was walking around and heard noises, so I investigated." He said trying to dilute the situation, trying to seem like he didn't act like he was spying on me. I didn't want to make things more awkward than it already was, "No worries, I'm just packing my bag to go up there" as I point up, indicating I was going to the real world. "Oh ok, is it ok if I come along? I kinda need a ride to the store, just to grab a few things Audrey asked me to get." Joey asked, I didn't want anyone to come with me, just wanted to go alone, but him being my old business partner, I didn't want to seem rude. "Sure, nice of you to help your kid out," I said, shit that sounded rude. Joey smiled faintly at me, "Yeah, she is super busy and wanted me to get food for the house." He explained. Does he live with his daughter?

We walk up to the entry to the real world, a ladder waiting for us to climb up. I climbed first, for every step I need to be careful since the steps are giving out. I make it, drag myself up, and stood up. Behind me was Joey, I wait for him to get into the last few steps and I pull him up. I look at him in the eyes, and a feeling I haven't felt in a while overwhelms me. "Uh, you good, Henry?" Joey asks, waking me from my daze "Oh, sorry" as I draw my face back and blink to make me know my surroundings. His eyes were so, elegant; beautiful? But why am I thinking about this? A man of my age shouldn't be thinking about this.
