A couple of months have passed by, currently making it December. Y/n and Shikamaru have both come to their senses and realized their feelings for each other but the denseness of Shikamaru and the naiveness of Y/n kept them from seeing the signs of interest. Surprisingly, both of their friend groups met and bonded easily. Not to the point of hanging out but ones would talk if they were in the same class. Everyone slowly but surely started to notice how close Y/n and Shikamaru were getting but didn't consider that they potentially liked each other since they all knew how their friend was. Y/n is currently on the phone with Lorre, talking about random things.

Y/n then got a text from Shikamaru. A smile crept up on her face. Now that she knows her feelings for Shikamaru, her face can't help but heat up a little.
