M/N had been pondering this world for a while now. He couldn't help but notice that all of his friends possessed unique and strong auras that made them stand out. Each of them had a striking appearance, and in a crowd, they were easily distinguishable and memorable.
It finally struck him that he might have landed in a world that resembled something out of a comic book or drama.
Inside the classroom, the teacher had yet to arrive. M/N glanced around and noticed that his friends were crystal clear. Jay was focused on his studies, not a blurry figure. Zack, Mira, and Zoe—each of them were clear and distinct. While some faces remained somewhat discernible, M/N understood that they were merely supporting characters in his narrative.
M/N's gaze drifted outside the classroom, down the corridors, where he noticed another clear figure—Eli Jang. Eli caught M/N's eye and waved, holding a piece of candy. M/N returned the greeting with a serene smile, and Eli continued on his way, content.
M/N looked up as the teacher finally entered the classroom, with a stressed face.......as always.
"Class, we have a new student," he teacher announced.
M/N had never heard the teacher's voice so clearly. The plot was finally starting.
M/N watched with fascination as the new student walked in. He radiated charisma, had a captivating aura, and was remarkably clear in M/N's eyes. He was the protagonist, no doubt.
M/N's eyes sparkled as he observed the new student introduce himself. It was as if he were watching everything in ultra HD.
The students in the classroom couldn't help but be captivated by the newcomer's extraordinary presence.
"Daniel, you can sit next to Zack," the teacher instructed.
With some nervousness, Daniel made his way to the assigned seat, aware of the numerous eyes on him, including M/N's. He had noticed M/N the moment he walked in and hadn't expected to find M/N's gaze directed at him. Shyly, he met M/N's eyes, and M/N responded with a warm, closed-eyed smile.
The class eventually ended, and M/N watched as Zoe approached Daniel. She flirted with him, which didn't surprise M/N, considering she had done the same with him before.
Jay gently tapped M/N's arm, they were going to Jay's house after school, a sleepover.
A shadow loomed over them—Zack Lee.
"You guys were so engrossed in your chit-chat that you didn't hear the bell ring?" Zack said, rolling his eyes.
M/N and Jay exchanged glances and shook their heads, indicating that they hadn't heard the bell. Zack rolled his eyes again and moved on. M/N and Jay quickly packed their belongings and followed Zack.
M/N noticed Daniel in the classroom, surrounded by girls. They made eye contact, and before M/N exited the classroom, he exchanged smiles with Daniel.
In the cafeteria, they arrived a bit later than Daniel, but they caused just as much commotion.
"Hey, it's them."
"The Holy Trinity."
"The Holy Trinity? You guys are weird."
"The Holy Trinity makes me feel unholy things."
It was clear who the center of attention was—the main character was none other than M/N. Without him, Zack and Jay's friendship would have been unimaginable. Surprisingly, lately, even without M/N's direct involvement, Zack and Jay had been getting along quite well, and Zack had almost stopped getting into violent fights.
The three of them sat down and began their lunch, undisturbed by the stares and gossip around them. Although M/N might have appeared calm on the outside, he was contemplating breaking his friendship with them. He didn't want to be entangled with the "main character group" to avoid unnecessary troubles and roller coasters of adventures.
"Hey, M/N, what's on your mind?" Zack asked, noticing that his usually talkative friend was unusually quiet.
"Him," M/N replied, his eyes following Daniel as he followed some notorious troublemakers from the school.
"A fight?"
"What's going on, Jay? Well, that new guy seems to be the source of some trouble," M/N replied with a smile, though Jay tilted his head in puzzlement.
"Don't do this, Jay. How am I going to break our friendship when you're being so cute?" M/N thought
"Huh, M/N, I didn't know you were into looks as well. Crazy," Zack scoffed.
"I'm not. Just wait and see," M/N replied with a mysterious smile.
__________
The Holy Trinity sat in silence. They weren't talking or joking around as usual, and it was clear that their sunshine, M/N, was absent. M/N seemed lost in thought that day, and it worried his friends. Jay stared at his sleeping figure while Zack peeked some glances.
"Is M/N okay?" she asked, oblivious to the fact that many of their classmates thanked her internally as they had secretly wanted to ask the same question but refrained due to Zack's intimidating demeanor.
"I don't know. He's been like this since the new guy arrived," Zack said, his brows furrowed.
Mira looked at M/N with worry when she suddenly heard someone cursing.
Surprisingly, it was Daniel...
And it looked like he had just cursed at Zoe.
M/N woke up from his trance and giggled, surprising everyone around him.
"That was unexpected from him, Daniel," M/N commented with a grin.
Daniel, upon hearing his name, turned his gaze toward the voice. When he saw M/N staring at him, he quickly averted his eyes.
