act three, chapter twenty-six
"CAN YOU HEAR ME? WAKE UP, YELENA." The concerned toned voice of Carlos De'vil begged. Yelena's eyes fluttered open, her pupils dilated as they adjusted to the bright light on the ceiling of the library. "Sit up."
Yelena felt him pull on her arms, she groaned in the process after she felt a painful throb travel through her skull. Carlos examine her head, "you must of hit it when you fell. What happened?"
Yelena then recalls the events that had token place minutes before, her eyes widened, gritting her teeth, "Audrey, she—"
"She has the scepter and crown," Carlos finishes for her, helping her up off the ground, "Mal wanted me to find you."
Yelena focuses all her attention on him, "Is she okay?"
"Yes—well no, but yes," Carlos blabbered frantically. "Mary was with her."
Yelena did know why she suddenly lashed out at Carlos, but she did, "get the the point, Carlos." His head flinched back and Yelena's eyes softened. "I'm sorry I— I didn't mean to snap at you, I'm just worried."
"It's okay." Carlos nods, giving Yelena a soft smile, "Audrey did something to Mary, but we don't know exactly what it is. And we have to go back to the isle to get hades ember, it's the only way to stop Audrey."
Yelena sighs, sarcastically replying, "great."
Carlos nods in agreements,"We're gonna met at the end of the island, so be ready."
Yelena doesn't hesitate to nod, "got it."

"WOAH, I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT." YELENA SCREECHED AS she pulled up next to Mal's motorcycle at the end of the island. Her smooth pale like skin was now crinkled, slightly sagging. Her purple hair was now a deep grey.
Jay snorts, "neither was I."
Mal gave a weak smile, "Hi, my love. How bad is it?"
Yelena gave a tight smile, "ah, honey, You look beautiful as always."
Jay raised a brow, "really?"
"Shut up." Yelena hissed quietly.
"We don't have time for this, are you guys ready?" Evie motions towards Mal so she could do the spell.
