Obliviate {Draco Malfoy}

Hello...hi. Yes it's actually me.

First of all...how are you guys doing? I hope you're all doing amazing.

I'm okay. I know you guys have been concerned due to my sudden disappearance. I'm alive.

Anyways...let's get to the point that I know you guys are dying to know. Obliviate.

I know you all hate me for not updating. I've actually gotten a few angry DM's expressing such anger. And I completely understand where you're coming from. You all deserve to know what's going to happen to Obliviate and why I stopped updating. So here we go.

When I began writing Revenge, we were in peak pandemic. I was home all day with nothing to do. I really had no life at that point and I had all the time in the world to write. However, once I began to write Obliviate, Covid started dying down and quarantine was coming to an end. I started going back to university, thus why the updates slowly became less and less. It was very overwhelming for me to finish my homework knowing I had a 1,000 word chapter still left to write. Writing was a hobby for me when I first began, but after a while it started feeling more like homework I was due to submit.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE writing. It was the one things that kept me going through quarantine. However once life began to get back to normal I didn't have as much time to write. I tried so hard to make time. I stayed up all night finishing chapters once I was done with homework. And all though it became draining, seeing your comments made it worth it.

However, then I began law school. *gags*

Ever since then I have absolutely no time for anything other than reading cases and reading law related books. I have no time for my family, for my friends or for my boyfriend. I won't get too into it but I absolutely hate it and I'm not happy but it's something I have to do.

So anyways...that's when Obliviate came to a stop. I hope you guys understand. I know I should've just come out and said the updates were over. I guess a part of me hoped one day I could finish the story. I'm extremely proud of what I've written but very disappointed I wasn't able to finish it.

I am extremely thankful for the support you've given to Revenge and Obliviate. I've grown so fond of you guys and every time I uploaded all I looked forward to was seeing the comments of you guys enjoying the story. It brought me so much joy and I miss it so much. Thank you to everyone for making my quarantine a memorable time for me. (That sounds so dramatic but its true).

Maybe one day I'll be able to finish it. Or maybe one day I'll be able to start a whole new story with new characters and finish it completely. (....I might have some ideas written down...) but for now, I'm going to enjoy my Christmas break with my family and friends.

I love you guys so much! I'll see you all very soon. Maybe with an update, maybe with a completely new story (Draco related of course). And if I do come back with a new story I'll make sure to post the first chapter once I've finished writing the story so no one has to worry about being left on a cliffhanger. I don't know yet. Maybe let me know in the comments what you would prefer.
