Ah yes, I love it when a plan comes together. I was currently on my way to drop off my carriage and head back to my cult or The Liberation, if you'd like to be technical, to check up on them and receive my report. You see, I had planted them near Irlam village before making my way over there for two specific reasons. The first was so that my cult would receive praise from the public before Subaru and his scrounged-up band of mercenaries could even get a chance to participate, ultimately giving the Liberation more public support and cause for others to join of their own volition, meaning easy targets to passively infect and gain control over. The beauty of it being passive rather than forced is from what I found, those who willingly give into the parasite have a greater symbiosis with it than those who are forced into submission. The reason why I don't include those that are infected unknowingly is because they will gradually come to be submissive towards me and those with superior varieties of the parasites. But anyways, back to my journey back, it would seem as though mabeasts decided to spring up on the road towards the village. From what I gathered, it would seem that Roswaal made a last second request of Meili, the girl that would be responsible for the mabeast attack on the village under Roswaal's orders. It would seem that he did not appreciate me and my group not being a part of his E-Girl's notepad. So, because he can't predict our movements and plans, he decided to try and kill us. I'm not going to lie, part of me saw this coming and I knew that I was putting Apex in a dangerous situation, but ultimately, Roswaal can't do anything to Apex without potentially risking his life's goal of reviving his waifu. From what I can gather about this attempt, it was probably him testing my capabilities and determining how big of a threat I am to him. He also probably has Ram using her clairvoyance to use the insects and animals to observe me and report back to him, which is why I made sure to eliminate all life that Ram could potentially use to get early information on my cult. This included all animal and insect life. As far as I was aware, she couldn't use the plant life to observe from afar, so I was still good in terms of secrecy. Anyways, I figured that there would be no harm in showing Roswaal just a small portion of what I'm capable of. I didn't utilize the physical capabilities of my body, nor did I use my specialty of Void magic simply because you never want to reveal your hand too early in the game. Plus, I didn't want Roswaal to see me and my family as a threat that needed to be swiftly dealt with. What I could do was show off some magic that nobody in this world has access to simply because the magic system here is quite limiting. I used lightning magic to eliminate the mabeasts and proceeded to continue making my way towards my shop. That should satisfy Roswaal's curiosity for the meantime and further secure Apex's safety for a while. After I had made it back, I parked my carriage in the back and checked up on Rene and Milk. Fortunately, and unfortunately, Rene was able to keep Milk occupied and out of trouble, but I knew that it wouldn't last long. When I got in the store, I could see Milk had already began throwing a hissy fit and I knew exactly what to say in order to get her to calm down.

"Hey Milk, wanna steal stuff from this fancy mansion down the road", I asked her.

"REALLY!", Milk asked.

"Yep, let me tell you all about it."

After I told her the details, she flew right towards the Roswall Mansion with the mission of stealing as much stuff as possible, but I gave her a specific item that she needed to see if she could steal. If my hypothesis is correct, Roswaal's fortune teller book won't be able to predict us and he'll leave it in his drawer unguarded under the presumption that nothing other than what it foretold would happen. And to ensure that Apex isn't seen as suspicious if we do steal it and the theft is revealed, I told him nothing of what will transpire so that if Puck presses him, he will be clueless. I'm not sure what will occur if we take this gospel into the next iteration of the world when Subaru dies, as there will be two of the same items in the world, but I'm curious for the result. Will the world begin to glitch and break as there are more than one of something specific? Will one be deleted and if so which one? Or will the book bend to my will? Either way, it'll be fun to see. As for Rene, I had her guard the store as we don't need any curious georges right now. I decided to head towards the Liberation camp I have set up as even though I won't be around to give them orders after I leave this world, I can give them orders to terrorize the rest of the world and make this one a nightmare for those still here. Shortly after lunch, I began making my way towards where the Liberation is camped and the closer I get, the quieter it gets. Eventually, I fail to hear any wildlife, insect or animal...all according to plan. I eventually make my way to a clearing, where I see my army handling various tasks. When they noticed me, they all stop and cheered in celebration of my arrival. I allowed them a few moments before silencing them.
