Reflections of a Soul

Reflection of your inner soul reveals feelings that live within. Emotions that are trapped hard to reveal continue to grow develop and blossom within or rot and destroy the peace within.

Memories cherished are also memories that reveal an inner you. Through the snares of life each curve you turn winds out to a straight path, only to lead us to another bend or turn in the road, but its how you handle the curve that matters. Most of us are use to being in the driving seat but someone has to be a passenger at times. Being taken for granted is often perceived as selfish but it's only true when the individual affected allows it fester and continue. People have natural tendicies to depend on others, take advice, be led, be pampered, loved, used and abused but unless we as individuals decide how long and how much we will take and give after you have given all you have to others will you be free to become who you are destined to be.
Going through life after striving to complete goals and expectations set by others, yourself and the world will never be enough if you don't feel like you are done. Your inner self wants more, but fear sets in. Your hidden thoughts reveal more but fear of the unknown keeps you from progress.

The little gurl in me suppress those memories that ultimately have made me stronger, but the memories resurface and also defeat and weaken the parts of my heart that hurt the most. I move forward in life striving to be best at what I do, because I don't want to let anyone down because I am filled with joy, tenacity, determination and all the qualities that I thrive on giving to others as a pillar of light in these streets, but do I have a pole to lean on that shines those qualities back to me. Yes, God!
