    It was the first day of summer break, the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Lawrence and Lucas McGreevy had just arrived at their grandmas house in the country.
    Lawrence had been exploring the house and was in the upstairs living room when he hers a 'plunk' from across the room. He looked over to where it had come from. He only saw the fishbowl with Mr.Bubbles, an Orange and yellow goldfish that belonged to his grandmother, and something else-
"What in the world" said Lawrence as he rushed over to look into the bowl.
    The thing splashed around in desperation to get out and appeared to be struggling. Lawrence noticed this and scooped it up with ease. It coughed up water as he studied the strange animal. It looked identical to a human aside from the cat-like ears, and was drenched in water. Just as the thing noticed him, Lucas walked in.
"Hey dude, we need help unpacking...what are you doing in here anyways?" He said. Lawrence flipped around quickly and hid the thing cupped behind his back.
"Nothing! I'm coming" he said as Lucas started coming closer.
"What are you hiding back there?" He said creeping forward. And then pouncing for Lawrence's hands.
"It's none of your bu-wha-where'd it go?" He said looking for the creature.
"Huh so you really were hiding something?
"No. Let's just go" but in his head he was wondering what had happened to the thing.
