Jane entered the living room to see the other Sparrows near the fire place "Hey guys" she said and they all looked at her "Jane. There you were" Sloane said with a smile "Oh, hey Sloane" Jane said "We were getting worried" Sloane said "Sorry sis" Jane said "Here is some coffee" Sloane said as she handed Jane a mug with some coffee "Black?" Jane asked "Just like you like it" Sloane said and the two smiled to each other "Thank you" Jane said "No problem" Sloane said with a smile before she sat down on the couch.
Jane took a sip of her coffee before she sat down on the couch next to Sloane.
"So?" Ben asked and Jane looked at him "Where were you?" he asked "Why do you want to know?" she asked "Just answer the question Jane. Where were you?" Ben asked "I just went for a...run!" Jane answered "Well, that isn't what I saw" Ben said "Excuse me?" Jane asked as she furrowed her brows "Were you following me?" she asked "Well, I had to. But I lost you when you teleported away and then I asked Fei to spy on you and she told me that she saw you with one of them" Ben said "I fucking knew it. Are you serious right now? I don't need you watching over me 24/7, Stalker" she said.
"What were you doing with them?" he asked "Nothing, they invited me on a little road trip and I said yes because I needed some fresh air" Jane said "I don't want you to near them, especially that jumpy guy, he is not good for you and also he is the enemy" Ben said "What do you know what is good for me? And also they don't seem that bad" Jane said "That is what they want you to think and when you let your guard down, that's when they strike" Ben said "I don't think that" Jane said "They have Marcus" Jayme said and Jane looked at her "Are you sure?" she asked "Yeah, he was making a deal with one of them and he haven't return" Fei said "So Jane, I don't want you near those guys" Ben said "You are not in charge of that" Jane said but he just looked at her without saying anything "I'm being serious, you all act like you're the boss of me, the only person that actually cares is Sloane and Marcus" she said and everyone looked at her while Ben just rolled his eyes.
"I've always cared about you, Jane" he said "Well, you used to! But every since we broke up, you've not been yourself" Jane said "That isn't true Jane and you haven't being yourself since the accident" Ben snapped at her aggressive and with his voice raising "Ben, calm down" Sloane said to him and he took a deep breath.
"Listen Jane, I think is best if you just stay in the Academy and not running around on the street like you sometimes do" he said but she didn't say anything as she took a sip of her coffee before putting the mug back on the small round coffee table next to the couch.
"Are you seriously giving me the silent treatment" Ben said aggressive "Ben, just shut up for once!" Jane said aggressive as she slammed her hand onto the small coffee table and some of the glasses by the table broke causing everyone's eyes to widened.
