It was very dark, The bright half-moon sparkled on the rocks, turning them into a shade of silver. Enid was really upset right now, she could feel her claws starting to rise out of her painted pink nails, and she also felt her head itching, that was probably a sign of her fluffy wolf ears growing. No sign of tail though, yet.

Enid had easily sneaked in Nevermore since it is usually not guarded by police officers or anything like that, she hasn't even seen one yet either, she thinks the reason of this is because they expect no one to go in there or to be too busy with their other activities. But not Enid.

Once she was in the boarding school and traveled until she reached her dorm. She immediately opened her dorm room and slammed it shut, panting. Enid jumped onto her bed and quickly buried her face in her pillow. Screaming, why couldn't they just accept her for who she is? She already wolfed-out, wasn't that enough for them? She means her mother. She has no idea what has gotten onto the old lady.

Enid's head quickly dived up for air as she pants for breath, about to go back onto her pillow, she suddenly recognizes a noise, the clicking of a keyboard, except it wasn't a keyboard, in a old way, it was a typewriter Wednesday's typewriter to be more specific.

Enid whipped her head around to see what the noise was all about. Surprisingly, she saw a short girl with smooth, black hair. Into two braids it looks like from the front since she couldn't see it from the back.

"Wednesday???" Enid widened her eyes when the short girl turned around, yep, that was definitely Wednesday.

"Wednesday! How long have you been here!? Were you following me!?" So many questions popped out of her mind. Wednesday just stared.

"I have been here longer than you, in fact for an extended period of time." Wednesday looked at the clock before continuing, perhaps seeing how long she has actually been here.

"So that also answers your other question, no I have not been following you." She finally finishes and turns to her typewriter again, but doesn't type anything yet.

"Then why are you here???" Enid asks with curiosity rising from her voice, rubbing her puffy eyes quickly. Wednesday started typing again, the sounds of the clicking noises as she waited for answer. She didn't like the silence.

Finally she answered, not the answer Enid was looking for though. "I could ask the same thing to you." She says in a more gravely tone, as if something is bothering her.

"Well i'm just here to escape from my parents... They have been so... Horrible. Well not my father. He just doesn't do anything about it."

"I guess I can relate in a way, my family always showers me with love, I hate it."

"Really!? Well that's a really good reason..." Enid says very sarcastically.

"Well, not the full point that is, I always need a get-away from anything whether if it's my parents or not."

Rubbing her puffy eyes, her scars start to sting more, Enid whimpered for a moment. Wednesday stopped her typewriter since the clicking seemed to be in a sudden break. She turns around again, finally getting up to her chair and walking straight to Enid's bed.

"I thought wolves injuries were supposed to heal." She says looking down at Enid.

"They are! I'm really confused why they aren't going away..."

"May I take a closer look?"

Enid didn't answer for a moment, so Wednesday just took it as a yes. She held her face with both of her hands below the cheeks. She is up close. Like a lot. Enid felt this weird feeling rising from her chest.

"Why don't you tell me about your partner? I'm going to guess that after a few months you at least have some kind of title."

"Ajax? Well, he has been ghosting me a lot... We haven't talked at all after the... You know."

They continued talking, Wednesday held Enid's face for a long time before she just went to her side of the room and sat on the bed, listening to what has happened to her. Finally she laid on her bed.

"You sleep here overnight?"

"Almost always, even when my parents don't want me to. However, if I don't tell them sometimes my mother may have a panic attack for how long I have been out. I'm still trying to figure out why, perhaps a disease."

"Oh, I don't know if my family would allow me, they might go out looking for me if I don't tell them...Your not worried if they just forget about you?"

Wednesday looked up, she raises an eyebrow. " I thought you would get the point by now."

"I'll take that as a no then."

Enid finally lays her bed, she felt relaxed except her mind. She turns off her lamp, perhaps she should try this sleeping at the dorm.

She could tell that Wednesday also turned the lights off at her side, since all that Enid could see was the light blinking out of the window slightly.

"Night." She doesn't wait for a reply, that wasn't really what Wednesday did. She just puts the sleeping mask over her and finally they both fall asleep.
