I brushed my fur while humming a simple tune. My peace sadly wasn't meant to stay long.
"Mommmyyyyy!" A little kitten demon mixed child flopped into my lap, "Kipper pulled my tail!"
"Well you spilled my milk Katrina!"
My two twin kittens bickered as I finished brushing, I was already used to their 5 year old antics. "Kipper, Katrina, please don't fight right now. Mommy and Daddy have a show soon." I set my brush down and scratched their ears lovingly.
"Sorry Mommy." "Sorry Mommy."
I made sure to look over their attire. Brushed fur, polished horns, clean faces and Christmas colored outfits. They both looked more like me than their father, Their older brother however...
"Mum, I heard Kip and Kat fighting. Everything ok?" Bastion walked into my dressing room, speaking softly like a floating feather. He took on his father's looks, less fur and more demon. He just turned 12 and is as mature as an adult, I sometimes wonder where he got that knowledge from. "It's alright sweetie, just the usual tussle. Is your father done yet?" He nodded as he managed to elegantly style my hair. "Dad was talking to Uncle Tom when I came to find the twins."

We stood back back stage of the outside toon hall, where we do outside performances. The set up was made to represent a Snowglobe. It was beautiful.
Narrator pov
The glass that partially encased the toon hall glittered in the sun, reflecting the festive lights and beauty of winter.
The much anticipated duet appeared on stage, showing joyful smiles.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" "A merry merry Christmas to you all!" "My my, it's a cold one this year." "Indeed it is my dear, but boy do we have quite the show today." "Right you are Bendy, who is ready for Christmas?"
The crowd erupted with excitement.
"I can't hear you."
The crowd got louder with happiness and anticipation.
"That's the spirit!"
Y/n the cat and Bendy did multiple duet songs, even let their little ones join in.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, Ringing Bells!" Bendy announced and he and the children gave Y/n the stage.
