*Halloween Special*
"It was a dark and stormy night at
The Bulldog Diner, Lightning crashed and Thunder rolled to shake the entire building.
Not a toon was in sight."
I sat on stage in my witch costume, telling a story to the crowd as a cartoon played on a screen near by.
"Whiskers the mouse, a timid toon, scurried along in search of the perfect cheese dinner."
The little mouse ran across the screen, looking around and rummaging through the drawrs.
"Poor little Whiskers, all alone. Stuck in the middle of a storm by himself.
UNTIL THE LIGHTS WENT OUT!"
The lights in the Diner shut off causing the crowd to gasp, and like a true toon you could see my eyes in the dark. Just like Whiskers.
"Little Whiskers squeaked in fear, hoping the light would return. He felt around in search of a lantern, and jumped with joy at finding what he needed. He lit a match and turned on the lantern."
I copied Whiskers and lit a match, lighting my lantern right after him.
"Whiskers continued on with his journey, sneaking past tables and chairs to get to the kitchen. He cheered as he found the fridge, a doorway to his yummy cheesy dinner.
Whiskers opened the fridge door and saw the cheese was one the top, the highest, and the furthest back shelf of the fridge!
How was Whiskers going the cheesiest, the cheddariest, the most scrumptious slice of cheese?!"
Children mumured, anxious for the mouse.
"Whiskers decided to climb up the counter, over the open drawrs, into the fridge, up the shelves, and right to the cheese he went.
He dance his way back to his little mouse hole and enjoyed his special cheese treat."
The children cheered as the lights came back on.
"In honor of our mouse toon friend, our menu tonight will have cheddar cheese as the star of every dish. We also have ice cream for dessert. For those with allergies, don't worry. We accommodate for allergies, so enjoy the rest of your evening. And don't forget, we have Trick or Treating at every ride and attractions! And don't hesitate to say hi to us toons and say trick or treat to us for extra candy! Happy Halloween everyone!"
