Danger and Detention

"Malfoy and Thompson! Detention for the next three Fridays!" Emily was so scared, she never got detention before! Draco, on the other hand, didn't look bothered. Emily ran back to the castle to find her friends.
"I got detention because Draco wanted to take me on a date to Hogsmede!" Emily exclaimed.
"Oh well, at least Snape didn't catch you." Abby told Emily.
"But you like Snape." Hannah said.
"More than Draco?" Brigid asked but Emily quickly shook her head.
"Well tomorrow is Tuesday and we're starting our Potions projects!" Emily told them, "We better go to dinner before Snape catches us again." The four girls rushed back to the Great Hall and sat at their tables with their fellow house members. At the Hufflepuff table Hannah told all her friends about Emily and Draco. Some girls were jealous because Draco was "so beaver dam sexy". Others were shocked that first years were dating. A couple third years overheard and exclaimed his they didn't have a boyfriend until third year! It was getting late and all the girls and boys of Hogwarts went to their dorms. Emily went down to the dungeons, said the password and went to bed. She always went to bed at 8:30, no later.

She was awoken by Justine partying at 6 am. Emily decided she just probably get up. This time, Emily told Justine to be quiet. The Great Hall was already filled with students eating sausages and pancakes. Emily joined in, shoving a large pancake coated with maple syrup into her mouth. Today, they had double Potions with the Ravenclaws. First, Emily ran to Professor McGonagall's class room where they learned how to turn a needle into a wooden stick. Of course, Emily succeed and was awarded 5 points for Slthyerin. Hannah smiled at her from across the room. Next class was double Potions. Then they had flying lessons with Gryffindor. When they got to Potions, each pair began to work. As Draco cut up the Heols, Emily put in some Geods. It was going great, Emily and Draco were performing almost perfectly. Emily decided that there potion should be taste tested. Of course, Snape wanted them to figure out what potion it was.
"Hey Draco, what if I drank this?"
"Don't die!"
"If I die you know it's poison!" Emily exclaimed, taking a big gulp of the potion.
"Ew." Emily then fainted.

Abby, Brigid, and Hannah all crowded around Emily's bed.
"You're going to be fine!" Madam Promfery ensured Emily.
"Get out of the way." Draco said pushing past the three girls.
"Hi Emily. You missed flying lessons, I bet Harry's getting expelled! He flew up then McGonagall came! I took Neville's Rememberall! I hope Harry gets expelled!" Brigid gasped, but covered it up with a cough. Then Draco ran away, followed by Crabbe and Goyle.
