Another Ashura

Chapter 8

[A year later]

That's how long it's been since the 98 tournament, Ashura has never been seen around except for when he went to college, visited Athena and Minerva or when he went to spend time with his sister figure, Chizuru. Ashura had destroyed many bases of NESTS but had never found Kyo and Iori, he continued searching for the two of them. He had seen many suspicious activities around the world and investigated them.

Ashura was now in the forest, stealthily jumping on the trees, he had found out that the NESTS CARTEL had built a base in the forest and that made him mad.

Ashura wore a black, long-sleeved, form-fitting shirt, black baggy jeans, black and white sneakers, and black gloves.

Ashura saw the base and he hid behind a tree before he had a look and saw a guard standing in front of the entrance. Ashura couldn't see the guard's face very clearly but something felt weird about the guard. Ashura was gonna use his beyond godly vision to see the guard fully but decided to do everything like an ordinary person. Ashura stealthily walked behind the guard and chopped him on the back of the neck, knocking him out.

Ashura: (That was easier than I thought, the 65th base of NESTS that I have found, how many bases did they build around the world.)

Ashura looked at the guard's face and got shocked when he saw his face, he looked like...

Ashura: Kyo. This guy must be an imposter, Kyo cannot be knocked out by a simple chop. I should see this guy's memories to be sure if it is Kyo or an imposter.

Ashura placed his palm on "Kyo's" forehead and saw its memories or should I say... The lack of ones except for the birth and duties.

Ashura: This is a clone, there are more clones inside. I should go inside to see if Kyo and Iori are in this base.

Ashura incinerated the clone's entire body by just touching it before using his shape shifting ability to transform himself into the clone he had just killed and looked exactly like it and even wore the same clothes it wore.

Ashura walked into the base and when he got inside, he got surprised when he saw about 700 clones of Kyo, wearing hazmat suits while carrying guns and a lot of scientists. He walked around the base and found some other sectors. He walked towards some strange dark room and used his light powers to see before he got shocked at what he saw, the entire room was filled with a lot dead bodies of Ioris. Ashura got out of the room and walked away from the room.

Ashura: (Those were Iori's clones. The cloning must have failed due to Iori being a part of the Orochi clan. I have to find out where Kyo and Iori are.)

Ashura saw a clone of Kyo carrying some food and decided to follow it to find out where it was going. He followed it until they got to some cells, Ashura saw the clone putting the food to some cell and decided to make his move. Ashura walked towards the clone and punched it in the guts, knocking it out before incinerating it with just a glare. Ashura looked at the camera and saw that it wasn't looking at his direction. Ashura went to the cell where he saw the clone and got shocked at what he saw.

In the cell were Kyo and Iori, who were naked as the day they were born. They were very weak and fragile, they couldn't move their bodies, making Ashura feel sorry for them.

Ashura: Kyo, Iori, I finally found you guys.

Iori and Kyo looked at the voice and saw Ashura.

Kyo: [Weakly] Great, another one of my clones here to bother me. It's hopeless, maybe we have been here for our entire lives and the entire things we have experienced were just a dream.

Iori: [Weakly and annoyed] It's only 1 year and 11 months since we have been here and you have already lost hope, someone is gonna save us or we are gonna break out here ourselves.
