Chapter 18

[A year later]

That's how long it's been since Ashura dealt with Magaki and Ash's theft of the Magatama. Ashura had trained harder than before to control the darkness within him, but it seemed like the more he was trying to control it, the more powerful it was getting. Athena and Minerva were the ones who could keep him sane and whenever he went sane, the two of them always helped him regain control over his body. Due to his darkness trying to take over him and him being a danger to everyone, Ashura had completely shut himself away from the society because he was afraid of losing control and killing everyone around him. He lived at Iori's apartment and Athena along with Minerva always visited him to see how he was doing.

[New York, Cafe]

Yasakani was at a cafe with a young and beautiful woman, they were on a date.

Yasakani slicked up his front bang and wore a cap so that the people around them couldn't mistaken as his younger brother but he received a lot of attention from everyone because his eyes were different from each other, his right eye was blue while his left eye was blue.

He wore a black varsity jacket with black trimmings and white upper sleeves. The jacket also has a large black "T" patch at the right side of the front, although it is currently unknown what does it stand for. It also has a white star with wing-like blocks at the sides and a text that reads "Since 2000" marked under, along with a red star enclosed in a ring with wings marked on each sleeves, a black printed tank top, black jeans, a large black belt with a gold buckle, and black and red sneakers.

The woman is a slender, curvy and beautiful woman of above-average height and fair complexion. She had shoulder length brown hair with green streaks and brown eyes. She wore a white button up shirt that was buttoned halfway to show some cleavage, blue rolled up pants, a white belt around her belt, black socks and high top sneakers.

The girl was Nikko, Yasakani's new girlfriend. The two of them met two months ago when Yasakani and his companions helped her deal with gang of bikers because she was way too outnumbered. After helping her deal with the gang, Nikko introduced herself to them and told them that she was one of the agents of NeoGeo Force and she went to the headquarters with them where they met the boss Neo. Neo saw the skills that Yasakani and his friends had and recruited them. The six of them were the one of the best agents they had because they brought down several criminal organizations that were a danger to everyone. Yasakani had fallen in love with Nikko and the two of them confessed to each other, they have been in a relationship for 2 weeks now.

The two of them were having a date now, they had a day off and decided to spend their time together.

Nikko: Yasakani, there is something I need to tell you.

Yasakani: What is it?

Nikko: Haven't you been wondering where have I got my supernatural traits and the ability to use electricity from.

Yasakani: No, there are so many people with superhuman traits out there and you are one of them.

Nikko: Unlike you and your friends, i was born as a regular human.

Yasakani: I can't compare yourself to me because my flames awakened when I was born and they caused me to have health problems. Where did you get your powers from?

Nikko: My home was burned down to the ground and my mother along with my father died. I was crying at the loss of my parents when I was suddenly taken away by strange people.

Yasakani was shocked to hear that, he might have had a bad childhood and lost all the people important to him but he has never been kidnapped.

Nikko: I woke up in a mysterious lab and found a bunch of scientists. A surgeon called Jalange told me that they kidnapped me so that they can remodify me to become their powerful weapon. I was frightened and I tried to fight back, but I was easily knocked out.
