44 - Summer and Accident

It's finally summer and Noah was taking a couple of summer classes. He was trying to finish college a semester early, which meant that he was going to take a few additional classes.

Noah planned to take three classes over the summer and six classes during the fall, which is all the classes he had left in order to graduate. He talked to his advisor to get everything sorted out before he registered. 

Noah woke up Saturday morning. He didn't want to think about the work he had to do for his summer classes he was taking just yet. He wanted to relax a little bit on Saturday before getting started on his school work on Sunday. 

"Noah," Grace said, after knocking on his door and coming in.

"Yeah?" Noah said, turning around to face his sister.

"Can you take me to get Starbucks?" she asked.

"Uh, yeah, okay," Noah said. "Give me a sec."

Grace nodded and left his room, closing the door behind her.

Noah quickly got ready and took Grace to get a drink from Starbucks. Frank gave them a list of groceries since they were getting coffee.

It was Tuesday and Noah finally got a call about when filming of Jurassic World 3 was going to start.

Saying he was excited was an understatement. He couldn't be happier to hear the news that they will be filming again soon. They will have to get tested for covid quiet often and stay in their trailers when they're not filming, but at least they will be filming again.

He told Frank and Grace about the news, which they were excited about.

Noah was nearly done with two of his summer classes and had one more to go. 

It was a relief knowing that they were going somewhere now.

Noah got them dinner that night and went on Zoom to catch up with some of his friends.

The week finally came to an end and Noah couldn't be happier. He didn't think of school or work. All he wanted to do was relax, not that he did much to begin with.

He and Joey have been texting and talking to each other on the phone more than ever.

Noah was on his way to Target to buy a few things for the house and for the apartment. 

"Alright," Joey said, "how about we move back into the apartment next week?" 

"Yeah, okay, a week and a half before I leave for London," Noah said.

"Alright, great," Joey said. "I can't believe all of this shit is happening now."

"Me neither," Noah agreed. "None of this feel real."

Joey laughed. "No, it doesn't! We're going back to the apartment!"

Noah smiled and chuckled.

"Do you know if Liz and Maya are moving back?"

"To be honest, I haven't spoken to them as much since the beginning of covid," Joey admitted. "It's not that I don't want to, but..."

"It's something that just happened," Noah finished.

"Yeah. Man, I miss seeing everyone in person." 

"Me too."

"Going on Zoom doesn't feel the same," Joey said.

"Ye -"

Everything went black.
