As soon Noah began reconnecting with old friends and costars, it ended. It ended as soon as started. Those reconnections included Maya Ross, Ben Savage, and Noah Schnapp.

He didn't know what it was about them, but he realized after hanging out with them a few times, he couldn't click with them like before. There was something off about them that he couldn't get behind.

Noah was still in contact with some of the Stranger Things cast, but they were more of Oliver's friends than his. Finn Wolfhard was the one that he consistently talked to other than Oliver from the cast.

The only two people he was able to reconnect with were Rowan Blanchard Bradley Steven Perry.

Noah and Rowan hung out a few times when she was in Los Angeles. Sabrina joined them twice, but that was it so far. They were all so busy with their own work that it was hard now.

With Bradley... they ran into each other and realized how much they clicked.

Noah texted Sabrina as soon as possible to let her know about his interaction with Bradley. Sabrina was okay with them being friends. What happened between Sabrina and Bradley was a long time ago and they were able to move past it.

Noah would do anything to get away from everything right now.

There were so many positive comments in his comment section since the Skin music video, but there was also so much negativity.

He would turn off the comment section, but he knew that it wouldn't be a good idea. Might as well let people have an outlet. Keep the comment section on, but don't look at the comments.

Noah kept telling himself to focus on the positive. Things are slowly opening back up, there should be a vaccine for COVID-19 and everything is getting better.

Tonight was one of the nights that Noah was able to see Sabrina.

They went to their old favorite restaurant, but they didn't sit at their usual table.

Sabrina had asked Noah if it would be too nostalgic since they hadn't hung out together for such a long time, but Noah said, "Maybe, let's do it anyway. We won't sit at our same old table, I promise."

He also added that they shouldn't focus on what happened in the past and all.

Might as well focus on the present and all, even though the world felt like it was on fire.

They went to their favorite sushi bar and they talked. They talked about a variety of topics, one of them being Sabrina moving to New York soon and that she had already begun working on a new album, which Noah was happy to hear.

"Can I hear something you wrote?" Noah asked.

"Maybe some other time," Sabrina said. "Why don't you write a song with me?"

"Oh, really?" Noah said, caught off guard.

He wasn't expecting her to ask him to work on something.

"Yeah," Sabrina nodded.

"Wow, okay," Noah said. "Alright, I'll write a song with you for the album."

Sabrina smiled, happily, which made Noah's stomach fluttered.

He really did miss Sabrina. They were best friends but since they broke up, they weren't as close as they used to be. They were still cool, but it's been different, something that Noah was terrified of happening to them.

It could have been worse, Noah reminded himself.

The breakup could have been a lot worse than what happened. It was a mutual breakup. They were in different places in their lives at the time. It would have been hard for them and would have broken up anyway.

Noah felt like he was displaced. Ever since he started filming, he hadn't felt like he was able to get comfortable anywhere until he finished filming his movies.

When Noah wasn't filming a scene, he was stuck in his trailer, waiting to be called.

He had all of his lines memorized.

Noah hopped onto Zoom with Sabrina.

They had a Google doc shared between them, writing random notes or anything stuff that they had written down on their phone or on some notebook that they added to the Google doc.

"Did you see the video I posted?" Sabrina asked.

"The video of singing that intro?" Noah asked.

"Yes, okay, you saw it," Sabrina said. "That was the song we wrote."

"Oh, yeah."

Something that Noah and Sabrina were able to bond over was being disappointed by someone they looked up to.

For Noah, it was his mom.

She left when Grace was only two years old.

He never understood why, but she did. She left with no explanation.

Frank dated around but most of the women he dated, never ended up coming around, which Noah took as things never got serious enough.

That was until recently when he met someone.

He told Noah a little bit about her but hadn't brought her around for Noah and Grace to meet her.

Frank asked Noah not to mention anything to Grace just yet. He was worried it might mess with her head if she knew. He didn't know how he would take it if she knew that Frank was dating someone.

Noah knew that Sabrina had gone through something before what happened in January.

Writing the intro song helped them both process what they went through whether it was recent or something that happened a long time ago.

Coincidentally, what they both went through happened on the same date and time, but just different years.

"Are you going to put it on the album?" Noah asked.

"Probably," Sabrina admitted.

The next thing the two knew, they spent some time working on a third song together.

"Why don't you write about what you're feeling right now?" Noah asked. "Like, about just everything that's happening?"

Sabrina seemed to like the idea.

They bounced ideas back and forth ideas until they found themselves Noah told Sabrina to write a song about ignoring red flags in someone.

"Hey, weren't you saying the other day about hanging out with a guy and there was a tornado warning you ignored?" Noah said.

The mention of that story lit something in Sabrina's eyes.

At that moment, Noah was called to film a scene.

"Shit, okay, I gotta go," Noah said.

"I'll get started," Sabrina said, pulling a notebook towards herself. "Let's talk another day."

Noah nodded. "Okay. See you later!"

"Bye."

Noah went to film his scenes for the rest of the day.
