For this he sounds like Kaito v3. Song used will be linked at the end.

No one knew ANYTHING other than physical characteristics about the shield hero.

He had nearly black green hair, pale skin and Jade eyes and never took off the headset he had arrived with. On one arm was a red strip of characters reading V3.07.NI, and he never was seen undressed below the belt. No one knew what his voice sounded like and he barely ate anything, yet seemingly needed no sleep.

He also didn't blink and moved in a way that reminded the other heroes of animatronics.

It was unsettling as hell, which didn't help his case when he was accused of assaulting the princess. He just stood there, eyes flashing every couple moments.

Eventually, after 15 minutes of repeated demands for him to explain himself, something seemed to click in his brain and he opened his mouth to speak for the first time since he'd arrived.

"I do no r ha v a bi la te to do th a t."

He sounded like a robot, which confused everyone even before they processed what he'd said.

"What do you mean by that claim, shield devil?"

"Ro Bo t. Ma she n. No PE n iss."

"A machine cannot act as a human, shield devil! Quit telling lies!"

The shield hero just let out some static that had to be his version of a sigh and pushed on what everyone thought was a mole on his chin, a click sounding through the air as his entire face fell off like a mask to reveal an intricate array of circuitry that seemed to have been fused with magic runes somehow.

"Processor Version 3, model 07, designation Naofumi Iwatani now in self repair mode. All staff report to stations for support." Came another robotic voice, this more of a recording through a filter than the clear voice bank the apparently named Naofumi used.

Naofumi turned around slowly to let everyone in the room see him holding his face plate in his hands before he put it back on, a click and hiss cutting through the silence before he blinked a few times and cocked his head.

"See? Ro Bo t. De sigh N d fo r per for ma n ce es. No t go od co m ba t."

"Prove such a claim, you strange creature!"

Naofumi let out another staticky sigh and twitched his fingers, an array appearing on his speaker-like shield that he fiddled with before it began to emit music. Suddenly, he began to sing a very, VERY dark song.

When it was over, the room gaped at how fluid his voice sounded when singing and the king looked like he was about to give up.

"Fine! Clearly you aren't lying! Just take 100 silver and get out of my sight, I don't know how to deal with a living puppet as complex as you!"

Naofumi bowed stiffly and left, leaving behind a room of gossiping nobels.

"Huh. He's a vocaloid. Never thought they'd be actually real robots in another world."

"What is a vocaloid, sir Motoyasu?"

"It's a program... er, a type of magic array I think is the closest to what that is? Anyways it's basically a bank of sounds you can play with using a certain voice to make music. There's a few different characters with dozens of banks each, so he's probably one of dozens like himself that have evolved over the years to be used to entertain people."

"... so I was right, he's a sentient magical puppet that can talk and move on his own."

"Basically."

"... I need a drink... Malty?"

"Yes daddy?"

"Your grounded for a month."
