{The five arrived back about a week later. A heavy snowstorm hit the moment they came back. Spring was not a kind season in Horisun.} "Dr. Windsor?" A servant girl called from the other side of his office door. {Severus was in a full, heavy sweater, and was still shivering inside it. He turned to the door.} "Come in."
"I just have news that you're needed. Miss interpreter has fallen ill with the illness infecting the city of Diag." She informed quickly. "They tried prayers, but it is not working."
"I'll make my way to her quarters now."{Severus ditched his sweater and walked out. They nodded and led him to Chamomile's room. The outside was lavish with the beautiful wooden doors and small gold statues. Clove was waiting outside.} "Ah, there you are."
"Good day. I've heard lady Chamomile has fallen ill?""Mhm, You'll have to go in alone dr. Windsor. Is that alright? Can we trust you?"
"Of course."
"Good, go on inside. Try not to touch her though. For the usual reasons and because she seems extra sensitive."
{Severus nodded and walked in, shutting the doors behind him.} "Lady Chamomile?"
{The room smelt of smoke as many incense was being burnt. Chamomile laid in her massive bed on the other side of the room. You could tell from where he was standing her breathing was labored. She wore another bulky white kimono. She lifted her head slightly when hearing Severus's voice. Severus coughed.} "Great oceans..." He waved smoke from his face. "You'll die of smoke poisoning before I can even see what's wrong with you."
{Chamomile's shoulders bounced softly with a hum of amusement. As he got closer to her a new smell appeared, desperation.} "...?" His brow cocked up and he sat beside her bed. "What are your symptoms?"{Chamomile shrugged. She moved her sleeves up. Showing her frail hands. She immediately moved them back down.} "..."{Next to Chamomile was a small notebook and pen. She didn't know what to say. He handed her the notebook.} "Will you write them out for me? How does your body feel?"
{Chamomile took the notebook and pen. She wrote a few messy words:
1. Hot
2. Empty
3. Lonley
She clutched the paper and shifted. Her handwriting was impressive for someone who was blind with her face cover.}
"Well, that's no good. May I lift your veil? I need to check your temperature, to see if you have a fever."
{Chamomile shook her head. She wrote:
"I have to keep it on. Can you still do it?"
Chamomile shifted again.}
"I can slip my hand under it, but it may affect results.. if you prefer, I can cover my eyes."{She nodded.
"That will work. My legs also hurt."
Chamomile was excited to see Severus for the first time. Especially his hands..she hoped that maybe once he was done doing her temperature he could massage her. Chamomile seemed off..on top of all this she didn't stop fidgeting. Her hips rolled on the bed every few moments. She couldn't take the pressure that had been building up on her hips since she caught this sickness. Severus closed his eyes and lifted her veil. He was thin as a rail with sharp features. His horns were small and minute, poking out of his hair and veering forward. His hands were thin and bony, his fingers were long and their nails were manicured. The back if his hand pressed against her forehead like ice in a hot stove. Chamomile whimpered. Severus was the first boy she'd seen in so long, and he was ridiculously beautiful. She wiggled free from the covers of her bed to hopefully show off her pear figure when he opened his eyes. As for her temperature she really was like a hot stove. Burning up like a meteor. Severus pulled away rather quickly.} "You're burning up."
{Chamomile nodded slowly. She pouted at the loss of his touch. Sadly her loose kimono wouldn't show much, so she sneakily pulled it under to sit on more of the fabric. Causing it to tighten on her waist. A thin line of water spiraled out and settled on her face, a chilling relief.} "I'm going to press along your stomach now, just to ensure you don't have a simple stomach bug."
