Sayanni jumped out of her sleep to the taste of drool in her mouth causing her to sit up, Harmoni awake on her chest giggling and babbling once she saw her mother had woken up.
"That's gross girl." Sayanni groaned wiping her mouth that was practically covered in baby drool. Harmoni had started a habit of sleeping with Sayanni in her bed and finding new and creative ways to wake her mother up.
How? It was unknown.
She watched her bathroom door open and Von appear from the room his clothes in his hand and a towel wrapped around his waist dangerously low and an noticeable print from the white towel as she trailed her eyes across his body.
"Good Morning." He spoke snapping her attention back onto his face. She blushed her face heating up and blooming red, she turned her body around to lay on her stomach in an attempt to hide.
"What you doing up lil girl?" He questioned moving towards Harmoni and lifting her up into the air smiling at her. Sayanni watched as his body moved thinking about how much faith he must've had in that towel to be moving around like this.
"Go put some clothes on boy." Sayanni stated tossing a pillow at him after he had put down Harmoni. "Why, you'on like what you see?" He asked flexing his arms. "Nope you ugly as shit." She spoke laughing as he frowned his arms quickly coming down at his sides mugging her.
Dayvon climbed across the bed towards her clutching onto his towel as he became eye level with the younger girl. They looked into each other's eyes Sayanni becoming flustered as his gaze made her nervous rather he made her nervous, she looked from his eyes to his lips. Everything about him did, they way talked to her, how he'd look at her when they on the phone or in person. She didn't know what they were doing but she liked where it was going so far. Out of impulse Sayanni pulled him towards her their faces closer then they had been a second ago.
Sayanni placed her lips on his and he followed suit. Dayvon moved the hand that was holding up the only bit of coverage around his body moving to wrap his hand around her neck. Sayanni let out a small whimper as his hand moved down her body and onto her waist.
Two small hands hit them both in the face causing them to look to the side of them to Harmoni with a frown on her face causing them to laugh and blush.
"Ughh got you blushing and shit." Sayanni squealed causing him to smile even harder then he already was.
"Shut up." He stated removing himself from the bed and going into Sayanni's closet for the one set of clothes he had over here from the first time he'd spent the night.
After Jeremiah left Sayanni didn't wanna be left alone but she didn't wanna seem like a burden to Dayvon either and had told him he could leave if he wanted to. Dayvon chose to stay, he had always been uncomfortable with the thought of her and Harmoni by themselves anyways.
"You wanna drop me off?" Sayanni yelled from her bathroom muffled from the toothbrush and toothpaste in her mouth.
Poking her head out of the bathroom she saw he wasn't in there and neither was Harmoni. Shrugging it off, Sayanni finished up her morning routine, following that with slathering her body in shea butter and looked for something decent to where since it was kind of cool outside.
She had been wanting to wear this Spellman College sweater she had gotten for awhile so with that and a white button up she layered the two, pulling some black mesh tights up her legs and a light blue tennis skirt after that, pairing it with her silver nameplate necklace as well as some silver diamond studs.
Finally she pulled off her bonnet then brushed through her hair loosening the pin curls she had slept in. Hair was a staple for Sayanni she always did her own whether it was protective styles, wigs, or her natural hair it was always done.
"What you in here doing?" Von asks startling her causing her to look at him crazy before responding."Getting ready what does it look like?" Sayanni asked rhetorically before going back to what she was doing. "Where you going looking cute and shit?" Von asked pulling her away from the mirror and raising her hand in the air leaning back some to look at her. A smile bloomed across her face shyly looking up at him, he turned her around making her do a small spin. "So damn pretty." He stated shaking his head before letting her hand go.
"You want me to drop you off to wherever you going or you gotta a ride?" Dayvon asked leaned up against the doorway.
"I was trynna ask you that. Amina and Kylah had planned this little girls day thing sense they feel neglected." Sayanni chuckled turning off the light in her bathroom and walking past Dayvon and into her room to stand infront of her gold leaning full length mirror.
"You taking Moni wit you?" Dayvon asks watching her pick out a bag to go with her outfit. She nodded putting her things in her bag
Sayanni put her things into her purse before walking up to Dayvon and wrapping her arms around him which caused him to bend down and wrap his around her waist tucking his head into her neck. "Thank you for being here. You ain't have to stay with me but you did, so thank you." She whispered patting his back and rubbing it.
"Your welcome mama." He whispered pulling away and hooking his fingers under her chin tiliting her head up to place a sweet slow kiss to her lips, they both melted into the kiss, Sayanni kissing back with just as much tenderness as he did.
Von had already dressed Moni for the day in a purple dress he found in her drawer while looking for the baby's diapers. Von never saw himself as a dad but with Harmoni there was this connection with the child. He didn't know if it was because she was Sayanni's daughter or if he just really loved the kid but he would do anything for the both of them.
"She's already dressed I just ain't know what shoes you wanted to put on her." Von stated once they pulled away.
"Thank you Von." Yanni spoke pecking his lips once more before walking past him and into the living room where Harmoni was sat in the floor in her play pin. "What you doin girl, what you doin?" Sayanni asked playfully the smile on her face growing as Harmoni giggled raising her hands to her mother. Sayanni picked her up kissing her all over her face and blowing kisses on her neck.
Sayanni didn't know how happy a child could make you. In a world so dark and evil one little gummy smile lit up her whole world. She knew what would come with it and she was prepared to learn as Harmoni grew, she also planned on growing into a better woman for her child as well.
