"Welcome to Chen's Island. The Tournament of Elements welcomes its bravest fighters." Clouse announces to the Elemental Masters as they get off the ferry one by one. As Katarina walked down the ferry to join the others, she could see Clouse talking to someone who was the first person to get off after him.

As she got off the ferry and into the building built within the island, she could see people dressed in dark red hoods, doing some sort of dance. She looked closer and could see there was white face paint on their faces, with a tattoo she can assume was an Anacondrai.

She walked into the building and sat down in between Turner and another Elemental Master. In the center of the circle was a serpent, and she could only assume that Chen's obsession with Serpentine had gotten to him, which could explain the snake theme.

Music played, and everyone stood up. A chair was being lowered down onto the ground in front of the Elemental Masters, with Chen sitting in it. Katarina saw that the chair he was sitting on had buttons on the armchairs, but what really got her attention was the Anacondrai skull placed upon his head.

"Welcome to the Tournament of Elements!" Chen announced to his participants as they all stood up. "Now everyone can all die!" As he said that, he pointed a finger at the door, and two cultists closed it. Everyone gasped when they heard the door closed.

"Direct your attention to me!" He said, laughing maniacally as the Elemental Masters sat back down.

This guy and his pension for theatrics.

He stood up and walked down the steps towards the center of the circle. "Never before had so many Elemental fighters been under one roof. I see Master of Fire, Earth, Shadow, Speed. Even a prophesied Green Savior." He says, pointing to the four Elemental Masters and the Green Ninja. His eyes directed his attention to the man sitting next to the Green Ninja. "And a former pupil has returned."

Former pupil? She looked over to where she was sitting and saw that Chen was referring to the man in front of him. Could it be-?

"I admit, I am a little surprised that there are two familiar faces before me today. I didn't think you would've wanted to join us today, Master of Form." He said to her, who pulled her gaze away from Garmadon. She furrowed her eyebrows at him, as he pointed to th e gong behind him.

"This symbol before you is for the Anacondrai, fiercest Serpentine warriors to ever roam this land. Its creed; Only one can remain." He said the last part in a dark tone.

"The creed was most commonly said by General Arcturus, one of the generals of his Anacondrai army. The Anacondrai believed they were more superior than the surface dwellers and the other four Serpentine tribes, hence the creed, 'only one can remain'." Katarina explained.

"Very good, Master Katarina. You know your snakes." He smiled at her.

The gong sounded off. The gong slowly split in half, moving away and revealing each Elemental Master's picture in their own separate brackets.

"Behold, a Jade Blade!" On cue, Clouse opened a case and took one out to show to everyone. "Here, it represents life. Obtain it, move on! Allow your opponent to take it. Loser!"

"Seems we need to get a Jade Blade in order to stay in the tournament." Turner whispered to her. "No doubt it'll be easy ."

"The rules are simple; Every match will be different. No two fights will be the same. Your powers will keep you in the tournament. Use it or lose it!" Chen explained to the fighters. "Win and stay on the island. Win it all and you'll receive fortunes upon your wildest dreams. And lifetime supply of Master Chen noodles. But no one come here because of noodle. You want the glory of being the greatest fighter in all of Ninjago!"
