One day, Thaddeus Bile and his girlfriend Taryn were at the park. They were kissing each other. But then, they saw (Y/N) who was there. She walked over to them with a smile on her face.
"Hello," she said. "I'm (Y/N). I'm new here."
Thad smiled and introduced himself. "Hi! My name is Thaddeus Bile but you can call me Thad. And this is my girlfriend Taryn." He pointed to Taryn who waved. "It's nice to meet you!"
(Y/N) nodded. "Nice to meet you too."
Taryn looked at (Y/N) suspiciously as she watched Thad talk to her. She had noticed that he seemed very happy around her which made her jealous.
As time went by, (Y/N) got closer to Thad and started hanging out with him more often. The two of them would laugh and joke together while Taryn sat off in the corner watching. She could see how much fun he was having with (Y/N) and it made her mad.
Finally one night, after a long day of work, Thad invited (Y/N) over to hang out with him. When she arrived, he took her to his room where he showed her all of his cool toys and games. The two of them played for hours until they fell asleep next to each other.
When Taryn came home from work later that night, she found Thad and (Y/N) sleeping together in his bed. She screamed and woke up both of them.
"What are you doing?" she yelled angrily.
"Oh no," said Thad. "This isn't what it looks like."
"Then what does it look like?" asked Taryn.
"Well..." Thad tried to think of something to say.
"We're just friends," said (Y/N).
"Friends don't sleep in the same bed together," said Taryn.
"She's right," said Thad. "But we weren't doing anything wrong."
"So what happened?" asked Taryn.
"Nothing happened," said (Y/N). "He was showing me some of his toys and we ended up falling asleep. That's all."
"Is that true?" asked Taryn.
Thad nodded. "Yes."
Taryn sighed. "Fine. But I want you to stay away from my boyfriend."
"Okay," said (Y/N).
Later that night, Taryn talked to Thad about what happened.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were going to have someone over tonight?" she asked.
"Because I wanted it to be a surprise," said Thad. "You know how you always get upset when I spend time with my friends. I thought maybe if you met (Y/N), you'd finally understand why I need to hang out with people other than you."
Taryn sighed. "Maybe you're right. But you should still let me know when you're going to have someone over so I don't walk into your room and find you guys cuddling in bed."
"I will," said Thad. "And again, I'm sorry."
The next morning, Thad apologized to (Y/N) for what happened last night.
"Don't worry about it," she said. "I completely understand."
"Good," said Thad. "Now we can still be friends, right?"
"Of course," said (Y/N). "I hope nothing changes between us because of what happened."
"Me too," said Thad.
From that day forward, Thad and (Y/N) remained good friends. However, every once in a while, Taryn would catch them laughing or joking around together and become angry. But whenever she confronted them about it, they would assure her that they were just friends and that she had nothing to worry about.
