I will. I will, sir. And a "bah humbug..."I mean, a merry Christmas to you, sir.

As I was following this version of Bob Cratchit I crashed into a young girl I smiled at her sheepishly before she returned my smile I felt my cheeks flush and for a long time we just stared at one another nobody saying a word

I should probably be going now she said her hair falling into her eyes it was nice running into you.... She stopped and waited... Oh Ebenezer he said she smiled before skipping away only looking back once bursting into a fit of giggles because of the goofy look on Ebenezer's face.

His search for the real Bob Cratchit led him to the docks where he found something unexpected for washed ashore trapped in what looked to be a Fisherman's net was what appeared to be a girl she was absolutely beautiful there was no doubt in his mind that that was the truth.

He quickly freed her from the Fisherman's net he could tell that the net was suffocating her he just hoped he was able to make it to her in time if she died if this young and beautiful mermaid died it would forever haunt him.

Ebenezer? He heard someone say his name it was her it was the mermaid you... but before she could say anything else she was interrupted by a fit of shivering she was cold to the touch quickly he took off and wrapped his jacket around her but she was still shaking he gently pulled her into his arms expecting and waiting for her to push him away but she didn't instead she pulled the jacket his jacket tighter around herself he needed to get her a pair of clothes as hers were soaked.

As his eyes found her face the first thing he noticed was her closed eyes she had drifted off listening to the sound of his heartbeat he smiled and placed his top hat on top of her head. I won't let anyone hurt you again Ebenezer whispered softly to the sleeping girl.

He gently cradled her as he made his way to his.... well a version of his business partners house he knew the way well so it didn't take long to get there but before he could bang on the door he saw a version of himself standing there.

Not yet, children. We must wait for Tiny Tim. Coming, Father. I'm coming.

Oh, my! Look at all the wonderful things to eat! We must thank Mr

Oh, my! Look at all the wonderful things to eat! We must thank Mr. Scrooge .

Tell me, Spirit: What's wrong with that kind lad?

Much, I'm afraid.

Ebenezer knew what would happen to poor Tiny Tim if he did not change he had seen it but this version of him didn't.

If these shadows remain unchanged, I see an empty chair where Tiny Tim once sat the spirit of Christmas Present said

Then that means......Tim will?

Ebenezer banged on the door with his foot as he was still cradling the girl in his arms and as he looked at her he noticed she was the girl he had crashed into earlier Tiny Tim was the one to open it.

He let Tiny Tim guide him inside she needs clothes or just warm up by the fire the names Ebenezer, Tiny Tim nodded and grabbed his arm guiding him to the fireplace thank you Tiny Tim that was a mistake and he knew it but the boy didn't ask though Tiny Tim was curious.

Where did they go? Spirit! Where are ya?
Don't go! You must tell me about Tim!Don't go! Where did?

W- Who are you? Are you the Ghost of Christmas Future? Please speak to me. Tell me: What will happen to Tiny Tim? Scrooge said as the Ghost of Christmas Future pointed to a grave and standing beside the grave crying with a crutch in his hand was the version of Bob Cratchit he had been following.
