In-kyung has been so bubbly recently. I didn't understand why she smiled so much. Especially from someone who always has a thoughtful expression. It's almost as if there's no reason to think anymore because it all makes sense to her.

Then she told me about her trip to the museum with Jongho and I finally understood. I gave her cheek a kiss and wrapped an arm around her as we lay in bed together. "I'm happy for you," I said.

"Me, too," she said. "I'm so...Oh, unnie. You just don't understand!"

I giggled at her happiness. "Don't forget that I loved you first, okay?"

"Never," she said as she looked back at me. "You always come first."

"Good." I snuggled under her arm and closed my eyes.

"Hello." I opened my eyes at the soft voice of In-hye's.

"Where have you been all day?" In-kyung said as she watched her get ready to take a shower.

"I was looking around some stores for new clothes for school. I start soon, unnie, and did you know they don't use uniforms? What will I do now?"

"I know what you should do now," I said. "C'mere."

"No."

"Oh, In-hye!" In-kyung playfully said. "Come here. Obey our unnie."

"I don't want to snuggle."

"Well, I want to snuggle with you," In-kyung said.

"Go snuggle Jongho."

"Hey!" I laughed loudly at In-hye's words and In-kyung's surprised look. "You never change, you little brat."

"She's right though," I said. "Baby? Will you snuggle with me when In-kyung leaves me for Jongho?"

"Yes. I'll snuggle with you when she leaves for Jongho."

"Go away." I playfully pushed In-kyung off the bed and she actually fell with a loud thump. In-hye gasped and I quickly went to look over the edge to see her mouth agape. "Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to--"

But she didn't let me finish as she took my arm and made me fall off, too. Luckily, I fell on her so I didn't get so hurt. I laughed at karma doing its job with In-kyung. But then it did its job on me when In-hye playfully jumped on us and made us both lose our breath. Good thing she's light.

I walk to my first English class with a smile at the memory. I wave goodbye at Jongho as he watches me walk up to the front door of the building. I'm doing this for those silly girls. I need to make sense of this new world so I can take care of my sisters. I won't let them down here.

I enter the old building with a smile. The lady recognizes me even among the darkness of the night. She gestures at me to follow her and I quietly do. The building looks so small from the outside, but it's actually pretty extensive. There's even a second floor and each hallway is filled with classroom doors. It almost feels like I'm in a high school.

The lady opens a door on the left side and enters. I hesitate before peeking in. I hear the lady say things in English to the woman looking through some papers on a wooden desk. She's the only one in here and she doesn't show that she's listening to the lady until she looks up from her folders.

She looks intimidating with dark eyes behind her round glasses. But then she smiles and it makes her firmness disappear. "Thank you," she says in English.

The lady gives me one last bow before leaving and closing the door behind her. I look at the woman now as she gestures at the closest desk in front of her. "Hello," she now says in Korean. "It'll just be you and me tonight. You can sit at any desk, but you can also sit in a chair beside me."
