It was just another normal day except it was my birthday. I didn't really like birthdays I mean it's okay like I don't like crowds and then everyone expects me to do something I don't wanna do so ever since I didn't want to do birthdays anymore I stopped telling people

I never told anyone it was birthday, or when my birthday was but there's a reason why I don't like them

Ever since my mom died it hasn't been the same  she died when I was 6 she gotten into a big car crash and the worst part about it was that she died she was coming back home from her job because it was my birthday

I hated birthdays ever since I stopped having birthdays at 10 I'm 17 now we'll 18 anyways I was omw to ash and fez's house because I had nothing to do so when I got there I knocked "hey it's me y/n let me in!" I raised my voice so they could hear me but I didn't hear anyone inside

The door had randomly just opened so I let myself in "happy birthday!!" Everyone jumped out and it scared the life outta me "thank u.??" How did they know my birthday

Maddy,kat,jewls, rue, ash and fez, and Lexi was all there "how did y'all know it was my birthday??" I asked "maddy" fez said I nodded

"Maddy yk I don't celebrate birthdays anymore I told u that along time ago" "Ik but u just turned 18 today I thought u could atleast have a birthday since ur a adult now" she smiled I shrug my shoulders "idk but if ur right" she nodded and walked us out the room

Ash and fez walked up to me "why don't u celebrate birthdays?" Then I started thinking about me and my mom on my birthdays before she died "no reason" I said "is it because of ur mom?" Ash asked I nodded they both hugged me "listen I don't need y'all all over me just because of this go have fun but thank u tho"
