*WARNING LONG CHAPTER*
I didn't expect her to come
I didn't want her to come
I know her mother means well but she has been here for me and that's why I invited her
I wore my best dress and the red bottoms I had saved up for last year
I dressed Prince up in a little suit he looked amazing
People started to arrive wishing me happy birthday and complementing my dress
When Jay's mother approached me I gave her a hug and she smiled and complemented my dress
It wasn't until she said Jay doesn't she look beautiful that I realized that Jay was right behind her
She looked handsome in the all black suit and tie that had hearts on it
Her mom must have dressed her well
She will often wear casual clothes to parties
Prince started reaching for her mother and I handed him to her
She walked away after telling us she would give us some space to talk
Jay said something first
Complementing my place and my dress I just nodded my head
I wanted to say thank you but I had to recognize who I was talking to
And the last things I said to her a few weeks ago
So I spoke and said what needed to be said even though it was gonna crush me inside
"Thanks for the gifts Jay but you weren't invited so I think it's best you go"
Her smile quickly faded
And i just looked at her for a second
I have to go get my son
I said as I quickly walked away from her
Jay did utter a word
Didn't cry
Didn't even try to come after me
she just put dragged her hands across her face and walked away
I was crushing myself on the inside
I knew I was still EXTREMELY mad at her
But I knew my love for her was still there
Even though I hated to admit I knew it was true
I finally found Jays mom she was telling me how Prince was getting tired and laid him down to rest
She told me she had to go back to the hospital for work
I thanked her gave her a hug
But she told me something bf she left
"Yk Diamond I'm sorry what Jay has done because of that Melody girl"
It's okay I said
"No it's not I've been begging Jay to get rid of that girl but she won't listen"
"You are such a smart woman with a wonderful heart and a great future ahead of you and even if that future doesn't include Jay in it atleast prince will be"
I smiled and gave her another hug as she left out the door
Somebody started some music and my friend Tori started to pull me into the dance circle
