When Porchay woke up the next morning, he felt a tightness in his neck and after looking around he realized why it might be so. He slept all night at the studio. He was supposed to hand over his lyrics to Kim but he was so tired that he practically knocked out the entire night.
"Morning Khun Porchay." The said boy looked up, eyes still droopy, to see Big standing in front of him.
He cracked his neck hoping to loosen the strained muscles, and in doing so, a red furry blanket that was on him fell to the floor. He didn't remember seeing the blanket so he figured Big must have left it on him. It couldn't be Kim for sure.
"Morning Big." Porchay yawned, as he stretched his arms and rolled his head. "Where's Phi Kim?"
Porchay didn't see the brunette at the studio when he awoke which was strange since it was already past 11 in the morning.
"Khun Kim is out on an errand that Mr Korn sent him on." Big responded.
"Ah...it must be something urgent then." As far as Porchay was aware, Kim was rarely involved in the family affairs. He preferred music than managing a business so unless it was absolutely necessary, he doubted that Mr Korn would have asked Kim for help.
"It is, indeed." Big stated, as his expression closed up like something terrible was going to happen and the ache in Porchay's belly confirmed it.
"Where is he?" Porchay asked, growing worried as ominous thoughts formed at the back of his head.
"At a client's place." Big answered.
"Take me to him please." Porchay requested, but Big immediately declined.
"Why not?" Porchay challenged, slightly confused.. It wasn't like it was anything dangerous. He just wanted to find Kim and make sure he was okay.
"Khun Kim would not want you to be there. It's very...chaotic." Big muttered, and Porchay could tell he was nervous.
However, that didn't stop the boy from finding Kim. Porchay couldn't understand what was the big deal but Big's repeated rejections did make him feel a little suspicious that something serious was going on.
After a few push and pulls, Big eventually gave in to Porchay and agreed to take him to the young master only if Porchay would listen to him at all times. Porchay didn't know why that was necessary but he agreed anyway because Big wouldn't have it otherwise.
As they arrived at the alleged client's place, a landed property on the side of the road, Porchay could see that there were many black cars and vans lining up at the front of the property.
"Is this a big meeting of sorts?" Porchay asked, and Big, who was at the driver's seat, shook his head as their car pulled up at the driveaway.
Porchay was just wondering what it could be then if it wasn't a big meeting but suddenly, he heard a piercing scream and then a gunshot going off in the air coming from inside the house where their car was at.
"B-Big! What is going on?" Porchay shrieked, as his face went shocked at what he had just heard.
"Seems like the deal didn't work out." Big murmured as he peeked his head out of the window, seemingly unfazed by what Porchay had just heard - a stark contrast to the boy who has panic written all over his face.
"W-what deal?" Porchay looked at Big incredulously like the bodyguard had missed the entire point of his question and was spouting some nonsense that he could not understand. There's a literal gun fight in there, and a murder has clearly been committed.
Then Porchay's face turned white at the thought of Kim possibly being in there. Oh crap! Was Kim in some sort of danger?
"Big! We need to head in there, right now."

"You know the consequences of betraying my father, Jay." Kim said as he sat on a wooden stool, facing the man in question who was now being pinned down by Pete and Porsche.
"The old man deserved it." Jay snarled, as he spat blood onto the floor. His face had been badly bruised and there were cuts on his cheeks.
"Did he?" Kim retorted as he spun the gun lazily with his fingers. "He gave you everything, Jay. A house to live in. A car to drive around and even a monthly allowance as a reward for staying loyal to our family and yet you chose to betray him."
"What about it?" Jay grunted as blood continued to flow from the sides of his lips. "Your father is nothing but a hypocrite who only wants power for himself. If I don't turn my back on him now he will surely do the same to me when I am of no use."
Kim laughed in disbelief. "So you chose to work with someone else?"
"No." Jay denied. "It was me only. No one else was involved."
"Really?" Kim asked, as he pursed his lips and Jay nodded.
"It doesn't seem like that's the case." Kim continued, then he lowered his voice with a threatening gaze. "If you could tell me who you're working for, I could consider letting you go in one piece."
But Jay didn't want to take up the offer, no as he snapped his mouth shut, refusing to expose the person he was working for despite being on the brink of death.
Kim sighed as he watched Pete and Porsche drill an answer out of him. They gave him a few blows to the tummy and Jay groaned out in pain when the beating became too much of it to handle.
"Why do you have to make things so difficult, Jay?" Kim shook his head, disappointed. "All you need to do is tell me who you're working for and we will let you go. You can have my word."
"Never." Jay growled as he took another blow to his ankle.
"Do you think he'll save you even if you keep your mouth shut about his identity?" Kim reasoned, as he looked down at Jay with pitiful eyes.
"H-he won't." Jay coughed, his head hanging from exhaustion and his voice wavering. "B-but either way I'm screwed so I might as well shut up."
"You still can live, you know." Kim reiterated. "As long as you are being honest."
Jay scoffed. "Korn Theerapanyakul will never leave me alone so quit trying." A mouthful of blood came gushing out as his head was striked by Pete. "I-I rather y-you kill me."
Kim pressed his lips together seemingly contemplating, and Jay thought for a second maybe Kim would spare him after all. Unfortunately for him, the next moment, he felt a cold gun pressed against his forehead.
"As you wish."
Kim pulled the trigger without hesitation, and even as blood leaked out, seeping into the hems of the rug beneath him, Kim was undisturbed, that is until he heard a loud gasp coming from the door.
With his guard up, Kim swiftly pointed the gun at the supposed intruder but he froze when his eyes landed on a disheveled boy.
"P-Phi K-Kim."
