Macau? Isn't that Vegas' brother...? Realization dawned on Porchay's face as he chided himself for being so stupid. No wonder the boy said he must have seen his brother at the party because who would miss Vegas Theerapanyakul.

"You seemed shocked." Macau commented seeing Porchay's mouth fell open and eyes widening in surprise.

Porchay quickly composed himself, clearing his throat before muttering a 'no' but anyone he could tell he was lying at the way he stammered and so did Macau obviously. Except that the youngest of the minor family didn't press further which was a great relief for Porchay.

It wasn't like it was a bad thing to be acquainted with them, don't get him wrong. It's just that Kim seemed to have had his guard against them which might have subconsciously made Porchay cautious too. Yet, strangely, in the past 15 minutes, Porchay found his conversation with Macau to be rather...pleasant.

"Do you hate being associated with me because I'm from the minor family?" Porchay heard Macau asked in a quiet whisper, breaking the silence between the two.

"No." Porchay answered almost immediately because truthfully he wasn't. "I'm just surprised you're Khun Vegas' brother. You two are so different."

"Really? How so?" Macau's eyes lit up as Porchay continued the conversation, even earning a laugh from Macau when Porchay mentioned how Vegas can be quite intimidating (at first glance, Porchay clarified) whereas Macau was a little more approachable.

"Well, Phi's first impression isn't always good." Macau chuckled, "But I am glad you found me friendly."

As the conversation went on, Porchay discovered that Macau was the same age as him - both 18 years of age, still trying to find their place in the world. Porchay told him he wanted to become a successful artist because he loved creating music and Macau shared that his dream was to travel around the world (not in 80 days though, he joked).

"You should come play at our family's home some time. I'm sure Phi will love to have you around." Macau said after Porchay told him about his music ambition.

"I-I'm not that great." Porchay murmured, as he pulled the hems of shirt nervously. Every time someone asks about his music abilities, Porchay would get really anxious because he just wasn't confident about his skills. Playing casually in his bedroom by himself was no problem at all, but playing in front of others was a completely different thing.

"I think you would sound amazing though." Macau complimented, resting a hand on Porchay's disheartened shoulders. "I can hardly go wrong with my judgments."

Macau's narcissistic remark made the aspiring musician laugh lightly. The faith this boy has in him is ridiculous yet oddly comforting in some ways.

"Are you still waiting for somebody?" Macau brought up question as the night was getting later and many of the guests had already left (some sober but mostly drunken).

Porchay nodded as his eyes wandered around, hoping to catch sight of Big, Pete or Kim. However, none of them were present which means they were likely still running their errands. It was a big family event anyways and he supposed that they would need another hour or so, or perhaps even two.

But by now, Porchay was feeling rather tired so much so he couldn't suppress a yawn from escaping his lips which was...embarrassing to say the least because he yawned in the middle of a conversation.

"I can send you home if you're okay with it." Macau offered, but despite the heaviness weighing on his eyelids, Porchay declined the boy's offer. He promised Big he would not go anywhere and he's keeping to that promise.

"You could give them a call to let them know you'll be heading home first?" Macau suggested sensing the apprehension in the boy's eyes. "I'm not sure how long you can last without falling asleep and trust me, sleeping at parties unsupervised isn't a wise move."
