Chapter 14 - Christmas

Y/N's POV
I finally can stop wearing my sling and began my physical therapy. Some days are extremely rough but coming back to Hailee makes everything better.
"Hey baby." Hailee says walking into my apartment.
"Hi Haiz merry Christmas Eve." I say as she walks around the couch and stands in front of where I'm sitting. I make a grabby hands motion and she leans forward and kisses me and I kiss back. I snake my hands around her waist and pull her on my lap. When we break the kiss I snuggle my face into the crook of her neck.
"I missed you so much." I say.
"Princess I was just here yesterday." Hailee says kissing my temple.
"I know, I just... I'm addicted to you. You're my drug and I can't get enough of you." I say. "Am I being too clingy? I'm sorry I'm suffocating you." I say anxious and worried.
"Y/nn I love your clinginess, you could never suffocate me princess." She says and sits next to me and cuddles into my side. I wrap my arms around her and lay down so she's almost laying on top of me.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." She says giving me butterflies in my stomach.
"How was the studio?" I ask, she's been super busy with recording and music. She's been also been occupied getting ready for Hawkeye, she got sent her first script and has been doing workouts and stunt training.
"It was good, putting some final touches on the album. I can't wait for you to hear it, you'll be the first bubs." She says making my heart flutter. "I'm going to shower and change." She says.
I frown. "Don't leave." I say giving her the puppy dog eyes.
"I'll be back before you know it." She says getting up and walking to my bathroom. Soon I hear the shower running so I turn on the television and find some Christmas movies. I can't decide on what to watch so I look at my phone and see texts from Gia.
Gia - hey y/n
Gia - do you have any plans for Christmas
Gia - do you need me to come get you, you're always welcome to celebrate Christmas with my family
y/n - hey Gia, I'm celebrating Christmas with Hailee, thank you for offering
Gia - you love her don't you

y/n - i can't describe it, sometimes i feel like im on top of the world, i have the girl of my dreams and im so happy when im with her but when im alone the dark thoughts invade my mind and i can't help but think im not enough for her. im being too clingy and suffocating her, my need for reassurance and affection is going to drive her away. i can't lose her Gia, she is my rock, without her i don't know if i'll be okay

"So what are we watching bubs?" Hailee asks walking towards me. She's wearing my boxers and my favorite hoodie which is a black nike hoodie.
"Stealing my favorite hoodie now huh." I say smirking at my girl.
"Yup it smells like you." She says coming over and laying down next to me. We share a kiss and I hold her close.
"I was thinking we watch Christmas movies." I say.
"I like that idea princess, let's watch the Santa Clauses movies!" Hailee says grabbing the remote and opening Disney+. She finds the first movie and starts it. She cuddles into my side and I just hold her as close to me as possible. I zone out and my mind wanders. I think about our five month anniversary, both of us cleared the entire day so we could spend it together. We spent the entire day in Hailee's house relaxing, we watched movies, made music, cooked and baked. It was a good day, a great day. I can't help but wonder how Hailee feels because I'm constantly looking for her attention. I always need her close to me or by my side. I don't like the way people just look at her as if she's up for grabs. Am I suffocating? Am I controlling? Am I being too clingy? I can't even hear the movie anymore because I'm too lost in thought. We're always doing stuff for me and never for her. I'm bringing her down with me.
"Y/n princess." Hailee says looking at me. I snap out of my trance and my eyes meet hers. "Princess what's wrong I've been calling you name for a couple minutes?"
"Nothing baby." I say and she frowns.
"It's obviously something babes." She says.
"It's fine just drop it Hailee." I said maybe a bit too harshly. She gets up and walks away to the kitchen.
"Come talk to me when you've lost your attitude y/n. Kai, and Liv invited us to join them at the bar but you can go with them if you're not going to get your act together. I'll go with my friends." She says snapping at me making me flinch. I take a shaky breath and my hands start trembling. I slowly get off the couch and walk into the kitchen. I sit on the counter and look at my girlfriend.
"Hailee, I'm worried." I say.
"Why?" She asks a little mad.
"I'm scared you're going to leave once you realize how much I'm dragging you down. I'm suffocating you, my constant need of attention and reassurance is suffocating Hailee." I say honestly. "I don't want to lose you because you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. Am I being controlling? Am I too clingy?"
"Y/n... princess, you aren't suffocating me or dragging me down baby. I love you and I love giving you attention. I love your clinginess." She says grabbing my chin and tilting it up so my eyes meet hers.
"Are- are you sure Haiz? Please tell me if I'm being too much for you to handle." I say.
"Y/nn I'm certain that you're the one for me." She says giving me a kiss. "Come on let's get ready to go out tonight okay." She says and I nod. I walk into my room and find an outfit for tonight. I take a quick shower and walk out and put on Calvin Klein boxers and sports bra. I put on slim black dress pants.
"Looking hot babes." Hailee says walking into my room. She's wearing a skin tight little black dress that hugs her curves and doesn't show too much cleavage. She's got heels on so she's almost as tall as me. She's wearing the necklace I gave her and to be honest I never see her without it.
"You look gorgeous baby." I say giving her a quick kiss before grabbing a tight black shirt and putting it on. I tuck it in and zip up my pants and find my Gucci belt. I put in my rings and look at the bracelet Hailee gave me which makes me smile. I grab my black leather jacket just incase she gets cold later. I can't decide between Gucci's Mémoire d'une Odeur or Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille.
"The Gucci one princess." Hailee says and I nod. It's her favorite she sprays any piece of clothing she steals from me with it. I put my hair up in a messy bun and Hailee is on her phone.
"Hey y/nn is it okay if some of my friends join us?" She asks.
"That's okay baby, I know Gia won't be coming she's with her family and Anna is underage so bars are a no for her." I say grabbing my car keys.
"Princess we're taking an Uber or I think Kai said she'd be our designated driver." Hailee says.
"Okay babes I'll order the Uber." I say.
"I already did y/nn it's here." She says.
"Im paying for our drinks tonight Haiz." I say and she frowns.
"I like treating you like a princess." She says pouting.
"I like treating you like a queen. Come on baby let's go." I say. We get into the Uber and we sit in comfortable silence. My hand is resting on her thigh and Hailee places her hand on-top of mine and leans her head on my shoulder.
"Hey princess." She says.
"Yes baby." I say.
"Taylor, Selena, and Harry are coming tonight." She says and I tense up.
"Swift, Gomez and Styles?" I ask.
"Yes, relax bubs they'll love you." She says. The Uber pulls up to a really fancy and exclusive bar. I see Kai and Liv waiting outside for us. Kai is wearing navy blue dress pants and a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and Liv is wearing a skin tight short white dress. I get out of the Uber first and go to Hailee's side and open the door. There's paparazzi here so I stand shielding Hailee's body from the cameras.
"Thanks princess." She says. We walk hand in hand to the bouncer and Kai and Liv join us.
"4 for Steinfeld." Hailee says and he lets us in.
"The VIP floor is up the stairs on your left." He says. Hailee guides us up to the VIP floor. My eyes widen at the other floor which is not as crowded but is still as fancy with a dance floor, booths, tables, a stage, a DJ and a bar. We take a booth and sit down.
"Hailee this is crazy!" Kai says.
"Yea this is so cool Hailee." Liv says.
"Thanks for taking us baby." I say whispering into her ear.
"I'm glad you like it up here, I come here a lot with friends from the music and acting industry." She says.
"Can I get you young ladies some food?" One of the workers asks.
"Yes please and drinks, can I get an amaretto sour, the beautiful lady next to me would like a manhattan, a dirty shirley for Liv and a water for Kai. Can we get fries, pretzel bites, sliders and chicken tenders? Also here's my card can you put it on my tab I'll close it later tonight." I say. He nods and leaves to get our drinks.
"You didn't have to pay for us y/n." Kai says. "I'm paying for the rest of Liv and I's drinks." I don't argue I just nod.
"Princess can we split the price of the tab tonight?" Haiz asks.
"I'll think about it babes." I say and she pouts. I kiss her nose. The worker brings us our drinks and food. We all start eating and talking. My hand is resting on my girlfriends thigh as she's eating her chicken tenders and i'm eating some fries and my mind remembers me being too clingy. I slowly remove my hand from her thigh as Hailee is talking to Liv and she turns and looks at me.
"Why'd you move your hand baby? Put it back." She said. I smile and rest my hand on her thigh again. We finish our food and we're finishing up our drinks. Kai excused herself and went to the bar. Hailee wraps her arm around my waist and pulls me closer to her as a group of women walk by looking at me, checking me out. I kiss Hailee on the lips.
"You're the only person I'm looking at Haiz." I say. I look at Kai who's walking back with shots of tequila with a big ass grin on her face. She sits down next to Liv and hands us our shots.
"Tequila shots for the ladies." Kai says.
"BODY SHOTS!" Liv says. She's a little tipsy already. I look over at my girlfriends who's eyes are dark and filled with lust. Liv puts salt on Kai's neck and places the like in Kai's mouth. Shot in hand Liv licks the salt off Kai's neck takes her shot and takes the lime out of Kai's mouth.
"Okay y/n your turn!" Liv says. Hailee sits on the edge of the booth and props herself up with her elbows. She leans back and Liv pours the salt on Hailee's breast. I place the lime in Hailee's mouth and kiss her forehead. I grab my shot glass and lick the salt off Hailee making sure to leave a little love bite on her breast. I take the shot and take the lime from Hailee's mouth. I suck the line with my hands resting on Hailee's waist. I help her sit up and I remove the lime from my mouth and give her a kiss.
"You know how to do that very well." She whispers into my ear making me blush.
"Okay y/n sit down you little bitch." Kai says. I switch spots with Hailee and she looks at me. I know what she's wants to do so I tilt my head to the side giving her more access to my neck. Hailee pour some salt on my neck and sticks the lime wedge in my mouth. She licks the salt of my neck making sure to leave a hickey, takes her shot and sucks the lime.
"I felt like I just interrupted something." Kai says making me laugh. I stand up and kiss Hailee's cheek and go to the bar to order us some drinks. I wave down the bartender and she walks over.
"What can I get you beautiful?" She says.
"Can I get a Negroni Sbagliato with Prosseco (a/n i've tried one it's not good) and my girlfriend" I say pointing to Hailee "would like to have a Cosmopolitan."
"Coming right up." She says. I'm leaning on the bar when I feel a pair of arms snake around my waist.
"Hey princess." Hailee says.
"Hey baby." I say. She buries her head in my neck, I can feel her hot breath.
"I didn't like the way she was looking at you so I can over so she'd stop looking at you like you're up for grabs." Hailee says. I smile, she's a jealous and clingy drunk.
The bartender hands me the drinks and I walk back to the booth with Hailee clinging onto me. I sit down and Hailee sits on my lap. I wrap my arm around her waist and we're sipping our drinks.
"We're going to dance!" Liv says grabbing Kai's hand. I mouth good luck to Kai as she gets dragged onto the dance floor. Hailee and I finish our drinks and Hailee orders us more, we've moved to rum and coke.
"Baby?" Hailee asks.
"Yes sweetheart?" I ask.
"You'd never leave me right?" She says.
"Never in a million years Haiz I love you." I say kissing her.
"I love you too y/n." Hailee says.
"Hailee!" I hear some yell. I see Taylor, Selena, Harry and some other guy walking over. They sit down in the booth with Hailee and I.
"Hey guys!" Hailee says.
"Hi Hails, how's your night going so far?" Selena asks.
"Amazing because y/n is here." She says making me blush.
"Hi y/n, I'm Selena" Selena says.
"I'm Taylor." Taylor says.
"I'm Harry and that blonde idiot right there is Niall." Harry says.
"Shut it Harry." Niall says.
"Nice to meet you." I say. I feel a little out of place since they're all big name celebrities.
"So y/n what do you do for a living?" Niall asks.
"I'm a professional soccer player." I say.
"For what team?" Harry asks.
"Well I just graduated from college but I have a contract with Angel City FC and I'm on the USWNT." I say.
"That's super cool y/n! I could never play sports that's so much exercising." Selena says. We all fall into a conversation, it's mostly Hailee and her friends with me listening but I'm content sipping my drinking and holding my girlfriend like my life depended on it.
"Let's go dance!" Taylor says breaking me out of my trance.
I shake my head no and Hailee pouts.
"I don't dance." I say.
"Please y/nn." Hailee says with puppy dog eyes and I can't say no.
"Okay but only for a bit." I say. I get dragged onto the dance floor by Hailee and we join Kai and Liv. Taylor and Selena are dancing together while Niall and Harry both found two random girls to dance with. I'm behind Hailee and her back is pressed against my front and she's grinding into me. My hands are securely gripping her waist while I bury my head in her neck placing soft kisses and love bites. We continue dancing for what feels like an hour and then Hailee turns around so our fronts are touching. Her arms snake around my neck and my hands are resting right above her ass. "And your girlfriend is throwing up." Hailee says pointing at Liv who's got her head basically in the trash can. Kai runs over to Liv and immediately hold her hair and rubs her back. We go back to the booth and I sit while Hailee goes to dance with Selena and Taylor. I'm sipping on my bourbon when Kai comes with Liv.
"I think we're going to go soon, Livypoo drink some water please." Kai says with her girlfriend slumped on her shoulder.
"Thank you for coming Kai and you too Liv, merry christmas by the way." I say realizing it's a little past midnight.
"Merry christmas to you too y/n." Kai says. I watch her basically carry Liv out of the bar before diverting my eyes to my girlfriend on the dance floor. I order a whiskey sour to end off the night, I'm nursing my drink when I hear Hailee yelling.
"I SAID NO!" Hailee screams. I look up and see that Niall guy grabbing Hailee's waist trying to pull her in close. He's being really handsy. I get up and walk over. He is grabbing her wrist and trying to keep her from leaving.
"Niall get off me!" Hailee screams. I push past people and make it to my girlfriend who breaks free from Niall's grip and falls onto the floor.
"Haiz!" I say and I go to help her up. She's crying and I pull her close to me. I turn around and look at Niall, I'm fuming. I'm definitely a protective drunk.
"HEY DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON MY GIRLFRIEND!" I yell. He comes up to me and gets in my face.
"SHE WASN'T COMPLAINING EARLIER WHEN SHE WAS DANCING WITH ME! SHE ISN'T YOURS Y/N! SHE DESERVES BETTER!" Niall yells and pushes me hard. I wince in pain because he pushed my bad shoulder. I stumble back a little. I push him back with force and he falls to the ground.
"LEARN HOW TO FUCKING RESPECT WOMEN AND DON'T LAY YOUR HANDS ON HAILEE OR NEXT TIME MY FIST WILL MEET YOUR FACE YOU ASSHOLE!" I say. He gets up and swings at me, I dodge his sloppy punch and I get ready to punch him when I hear Hailee.
"Y/n let's go home please, he's not worth it." She says. I calm down and turn around and embrace her tightly.
"Okay my love." I say.
"NIALL STOP!" I hear Harry yell and I turn around and see Niall lounging towards me but Harry pulls him back in time.
"I'm sorry about him y/n he's no good at handling his alcohol." Harry says. I just nod and grab my phone and order an Uber for Hailee and I. I walk to the bar with my arm securely around Hailee's waist, I pay for my tab. I take off my jacket and drape it over Hailee's shoulders and we leave. We get in the Uber and Hailee is crying.
"Baby, it's okay I got you." I say as she cries into my shoulder. I kiss the top of her head and hold her close. We get back to my apartment and I warm up a bath for us. We take our bath and I hold Hailee close to me. She looked shaken up. I see a bruise forming on her arm from where he grabbed her and I intertwine our fingers and bring her wrist up to my face and kiss it softly. I grab her one of my shirts and boxers and she gladly puts it on. I grab a shirt and boxers for me too and we go lay down in my bed. We lay down under the covers facing one another.
"Y/n... I- if you didn't come I don't know what would've happened." Hailee says. I wipe the tears off her face.
"Hailee I'll always be here. Whenever you need me I'll be there." I say.
"I love you so much y/n." She says.
"I love you to the moon and back Haiz. Merry christmas bubs." I say kissing her lips softly.
"Merry christmas baby." She says.
"Thank you for calming me down, I was ready to kill him. The way he grabbed you and was touching you when he damn well knew that you're mine." I say pulling her closer to me.
"I am yours and I only want to be yours." Hailee says. We share one last kiss before I become the big spoon and Hailee becomes the little spoon. I hold her until there's no space between us.
