author's note:
warning, i cringed while writing this- i promise it gets better, just- hand in there buddy :']Overall, dinner wasn't the worst thing in the world. He thought they were sort of decent at cooking together. Half n' half cut the vegetables wrong though, and that damn nerd, he couldn't even watch the water boil, he "burnt" almost all of it. Half the people would take longer time than needed to do a task, just cause they were talking to someone else. When Katsuki decided to help the amateurs cook, a few acted like the blond was some sort of gourmet chef, 'ooo'ing and 'ahh'ing at his cutting skills, including that.. Izuku nerd.
The greenette had explained that he wasn't ever that good at cooking, whatever he did, he'd always somehow mess it up, his mother knows all about it apparently. So useless. But, it's as expected from a nerd like him.
Katsuki went to sleep early that night. He always does, it was like a habit now. He sleeps earlier than everyone else so he gets a chance to wake up early, maybe go on a quick jog before getting in the shower to get ready for school, he felt more productive that way. And that's exactly what he did.
Class starts at 8:40 in the morning, so he had a decent amount of time before he had to go to class. He got his workout clothes out, just a basic black tank top, along with a pair of shorts. He had an energy bar before his warm up for his run. And then he was out, he just jogged on the trial leading to the park, maybe he could do a few laps there.
Izuku had been out to do his morning jog today, he doesn't do it often, for he likes sleeping in sometimes, but when he's feeling good, he'd wake up a bit earlier than usual and head out for a short jog, and it so happens to be the time Katsuki was out.
Izuku could see a man jogging a good distance ahead of him, he looked familiar. He was blond, with the same buil..— Oh! This was Katsuki. Izuku felt a smile creep onto his face as he quickened his pace a little to catch up with the red-eyed male, he had been going in a relatively faster pace than the greenette.
But it no time, Izuku had been jogging right beside the blond. "I didn't know you liked jogging, too." He spoke, his words being a bit shaky from the steps he was taking, but it was clear enough to understand.
Damn, just when I thought I'd have the morning to myself.
"What the hell do you want." He didn't look at the man beside him, just straight ahead, maybe if he didn't look at him, he would go away. "Nothing! I just wanna talk, it'd be better to run with company." He turned his head towards him, beaming a smile.
Don't look. Don't look. Don't look.
"You extras are so weird." Katsuki muttered, luckily, the other heard. "Well, what's so weird about us?" Izuku asked, his gaze still locked on the blond, if he wasn't paying attention, he might embarrass himself. "You just are, you more than everyone else." He answered.
"Oh come on, I'm not that baAA—" Izuku, since he wasn't paying attention to in front of him, tripped over a rock. Izuku shut his eyes tight in a reflex, he used one of his arms to help cover his head from hitting the concrete.
Why haven't I hit the ground yet? It should have hurt by now. The greenette thought to himself. Maybe this was one of those slow motion falls he'd see in movies. But nothing happened, Izuku opened his eyes to finally notice the grip around around his waist.
What?
He was suddenly pushed back up, gently though. "So clumsy. You're such a deku." Katsuki rolled his eyes, pulling his arms away from the shorter male once he caught his balance.
