Ch 18: Sundrop and mistletoe

it's been a few months, and It was finally Christmas eve at the mega pizza plex. the snow was falling down like tiny sprinkles. Sundrop was putting up the Christmas decorations and helping out Freddy and the others he was the most excited to celebrate Christmas every single year. he goes to check on Monty in his bedroom. "Merry Christmas Monty! I brought some-....oh." he notices mistletoe after mistletoe hung up all over the room with photos of Monty with Rosa. "What is with all the mistletoes buddy? moony would think it's impressive, but for me it's weird." Monty looks down at Sundrop and spoke. "it's for my beloved Rosa and I. we're having a private Christmas celebration." Sundrop looks around the messy room. "You mean this broken-down area you call a bedroom?" Monty growls at Sundrop, and Sunny backs away. "Okay, okay. I'll go. sorry Monty. and have fun!" he leaves and sees Glamrock Freddy heading out of his room about to the head to the walkways by the atrium. "Freddy! wait up!" he goes to help Freddy with some decorating since he knows each job what his friends do on a daily basis in case, they needed some help with anything. after the decorating finished, many guests came inside the pizza plex, and thankfully the place closes two hours early due to the holidays. Roxanne, Chica, and Rosa dressed up in Christmas Dresses, while Freddy and Monty wore Santa hats with Santa capes. Sunny obviously being the only elf, and DJ music man being Rudolph completes the whole Christmas magic. Gregory walks up to all the animatronics and tells today's schedule. "Okay everyone! you guys to spread Christmas cheer?" they all nodded, and Gregory smiled. "Okay good! Monty and Rosa, you guys will hand out Christmas cookies to welcome guests and sing on stage some Christmas songs. Freddy, you will walk around handing out holiday discounts and host the children for a Christmas tour around the mega pizza plex. Roxanne, and Chica, you gals can host the arcade, and the atrium to let the guests know to have a great Christmas and a good time, along with what time we close since we will be closing 2 hours early! and Sunny, well just do what you usually do." they all went to their duties, and Monty was glad he gets to be with Rosa during the day. and since it's a holiday, he has plenty of plans for her. customers came in the pizza plex, and everyone was having a great time, even Sundrop. he was playing with the younger children and everyone else did as they were told. Monty and Rosa took out their instruments and started playing and singing Christmas music. a bass and violin duet are perfect to create a magical Christmas vibe. Freddy was giving out a tour of the "winter wonderland" of the pizza plex. all the children and parents loved having a tour with a talking robotic bear. it makes Freddy smile seeing happy faces during the holidays. meanwhile, Gregory was watching at the sidelines and smiled. he was glad he would celebrate Christmas with his family. he suddenly gets a flashback of himself and Glamrock Freddy when he was still 12 years old. a young boy who wanted to fulfill his dreams and know he has a home he can call family....

FLASHBACK:

Glamrock Freddy walks in as the abandoned pizza plex was fallen silent and the walls have collapsed. his friends were shattered as the bear looked down saddened losing his friends from the disaster. the only area that was still intact was Rockstar Row, kitchen area, and some parts of the atrium. The young Gregory prepared a small Christmas tree he managed to find at a nearby dumpster and decorated it with plushies and Christmas lights. Freddy looks at the tree, and despite being unable to smile at the time because of how he was made originally, Gregory can tell, Freddy's eyes lit up with such pure joy. "Hey Freddy! Merry Christmas! I got us this old tree but it's in great condition. I decorated it as much as I could. what do you think?" Glamrock Freddy looks down at Gregory and spoke in a joyful tone. "I love it superstar! Merry Christmas to you as well!" Glamrock Freddy gives the young boy a present, and Gregory excitedly opens it revealing a handmade Christmas sweater. Gregory nearly cried of happiness since he never got any proper Christmas or birthday gifts at all since his parents abandoned him leaving him in the streets with no one nor place to call his home. Freddy wipes the boy's tears and whispers: "it's okay Gregory. I'm always here with you no matter what." the two hugged like father and son, and the flashback ends with Gregory saying: "I hope one day I will fix up this place when I get older and prove the world that the fazbear company will be safe again and put the past behind all of us."


END OF FLASHBACK

Gregory despite now being an adult, the flashback made him tear up to the point he truly does feel the animatronics besides his fiancé are not just his closest friends, they truly are the family he always wanted. his fiancé shouted to him for a group photo, and Gregory smiles and nods. he runs up to the stage and stood in between. his fiancé and Freddy. "Okay everyone! say MERRY CHRISTMAS!" and everyone did as they were told, and the picture has been taken. the best part is flash photography no longer affects the animatronics at all since Rosa's Android Animatronic company decided to have an official permanent collaboration with Fazbear inc. and soon, Monty, Chica, Sun, Moon, Freddy, and Roxy will be given Advanced endos, Advanced upgrades, and new skins just like how Rosa looks. the upgrades that they are given so far, are one of the few advanced upgrades they are given so far to test how they adjust to them. the good news is, they are doing great. so luckily their new endos and skins will be added onto them once they are fully ready. after the pizza plex closed for the day, Monty and Rosa headed to his room, and she sees the room full of mistle toes, and then the two started to have "Fun." Sundrop goes to the daycare and sat down on a bench. he was happy that the children had a great time with him and is glad that he doesn't have a room like the rest of the animatronics. otherwise, he woulda heard all the banging from Monty's room. Freddy was heading out of his room until Gregory came up to him. "Hey Freddy!" Freddy looks at Gregory and smiled seeing his best friend run to him. they walked as they spoke. "Well, guess it's just the two of us out and about pal." Glamrock Freddy smiled as his ears wiggled a bit. "Yes, it is Gregory." Gregory looks up at Freddy and smiles. he then spoke. "Hey Freddy. you nervous about the new you being made? your endo skeleton and outer shell will be different similar to Rosa's, but your memories will still be in tact thanks to modern technology." Glamrock freddy sighed and thought for a moment about it until he got an answer. "a little. I know Monty is excited about it though." Gregory chuckled and the two friends walked and talked until it was time for Gregory to go home to celebrate the holidays with his Fiance.
