Ch 8: a felony of jealousy

Monty kept his promise for Gregory even though his undying Love for Rosa made him soft, he did what he had to do in the Mega Pizza plex. doing kids parties, doing his usual performances on stage, and helping others in need. he would walk by and watch Rosa serve customers and chat with children and adults; he would sadly walk off since he would have to take a break from her just how Gregory wanted him to do. after a few weeks later after Gregory sees the change in Monty, he finally decides to let him spend time with Rosa, but ONLY when it's less crowded, and during closing time. Monty smiled and he heads to go see Rosa. as he did however, he notices her being with Freddy. they were both walking and talking as Monty notices her giggling. Monty starts to feel devastated and jealous over Freddy stealing his one and only love from him. Monty clenches his fists and walks off shedding a few tears of anger. to add insult to injury, Monty sees Freddy kissing Rosa's hand as he says goodnight, the gator's world shattered to pieces. he stomps to his room, and that is when he started wrecking his new room and it soon became a giant broken mess. thankfully the light wasn't destroyed since it's much higher than the old one. within the next day, Monty walked up to Freddy and pins him against the wall. "Listen up you stupid bear! I don't give a fuck if I break you in half! So stay away from Rosa!!" Freddy spoke in a calming manner. "Woah Woah! easy there Monty! Rosa and I are not together. she never stopped talking about you." Monty soon calmed down and lets him go. "Really? what did she say?" Freddy sighs and explains. "She always told me how much you made her smile, and she loved hanging out with you. look. I may have feelings for her as well, but since you two are inseparable and making each other happy, I'll back off. I'm truly sorry Monty." Freddy was about to walk off, and Monty puts his hand on Freddy's shoulder. "Look. I'm sorry too. I just...never been this happy with someone since this place opened. and I understand how you feel towards her since bonnie is no longer with us. but now I know believing you two were actually a thing, is all just a big stupid misunderstanding." this surprised Freddy on how remorseful Monty suddenly feels despite always being an angry jealous type in the bear's point of view. Freddy smiles and nods in understanding and he heads to do his usual duties. Monty heads to Rosa's room and knocks on it. Rosa answers it and smiles. "Oh! hello Monty! it's great to see you." Monty smiled and went inside. Monty sat down on her bed which was really soft and comfy. he decided to talk to her for a bit before heading off to do their thing. "Rosa....I was wondering, why are you so nice to me when everyone thinks of me as a monster or a beast? am I special?" Rosa looks at Monty and looks down clenching her dress skirt. "I do care about you Monty. and you are special because you are different than the rest. when I saw you, I noticed there was loneliness in your eyes. and when I first hung out with you, it always makes me smile when I see you." Monty stares blushing and Rose hides her face blushing as well. they suddenly hear the announcer "Montgomery gator, please head to Monty golf for a special birthday!" Monty growls in annoyance and both he and Rose walked out of her room, and Monty asked her as they walked. "Rosa, I wanted to ask you....I.....I.....Can I hold your hand?...I don't want to walk alone." Rosa smiled and nods. "of course, we can." Monty smile in relief and he tries his best to hold her hand like how couples usually do it, but unfortunately, he really sucks at it. Rosa couldn't help but chuckle. Monty chuckled as well, but overall, at least he is happy he is walking with her to monty golf for some company.
