Black.

All I saw was pitch black. My head hurting badly.

I tried opening my eyes, but I couldn't.

Or maybe, I could, but I just wasn't able to see anything.

All I knew was that it felt like someone was punching against my head constantly.

But in fact, I was just laying on the floor, next to a ball, which had hit me with full force on the head.

"Hey - are you okay?"

Again I tried opening my eyes, when I heard a deep, rough voice which, however, sounded so soft at the same time.

Squatting next to me, there was the blonde guy who looked at me in concern.

I couldn't focus on taking a closer look at him, because before I knew it, I lost consciousness and passed out.

When I opened my eyes again, I saw a light ceiling in front of me.

My head was still hurting a little, but not as much anymore.

I tried sitting up, but my body was too weak to do so.

"No - You need to lie back down."

I turned my head to the left where the blonde guy got up from a chair and walked towards me.

Following his order wasn't hard since I was barely able to sit up.

When my head was laying on the small pillow again I looked above me into the boy's eyes.

"W-Where are we?" I asked confused.

"The infirmary. The school nurse checked you through."

Right, the ball.

I remembered it hitting me with full force.

"I'm sorry about what happened." He ran his hand through his face. "Jeff's a dick."

He added.

I swallowed. "It's okay."

Again, I tried getting up, but the boy in front of me stopped me. "You should rest."
