The Reason For This Season

As He was laid down on the manger,
Angels sing as they knew it was the savior,
Even the three wise men come to see Him,
They give glory as they knew He was heaven-sent.

He was the reason why we have Christmas,
And the more reason why we are washed
This is the season to be jolly,
The season of giving and wholly.

Giving gifts here and there,
But little did they know He was the greatest gift given to mankind
The day He was born is a present for the world to share
It's not costly to give love and be kind!

The joy this season brings
Is not just about the stuff and things,
The real joy, the true Christmas brings
It was because of Him, Jesus Christ the king.
