(Alive) Tsukasa x (male) reader-hide and seek

Saturday,your favourite day.Why?Because you had freedom to explore the world outside your room and endless scribbled drawings.Now you were biking to Tsukasa's house.And you couldn't lie,the Yugi's house was one of the prettiest houses you had ever seen.You pedalled down the drive way and parked your bike by the door.

You stood back to get a good look at the house,captivated by it's beauty.
"Hey!Are we gunna hang out or are you gunna gawk at the house all day?"
You turned and smiled when you saw Tsukasa standing next to you,holding a lot of garden junk in his arms.He laughed at your surprised face and crouched on his feet to rummage through his bag.He stood up and gave something to you.

It was your old baseball that you had lost a while ago.You teared up at the sight of seeing your prized possession again and ruffled Tsukasa's hair in thanks.He giggled and took your hand.Leading you inside the house,he called out to his parents as you took your shoes off and placed them at the foyer,
"Mom!Dad!(name san) is here!"
You grinned as Tsukasa's mother walked in,she smiled at you and led you to the kitchen where Tsukasa pulled a chair back for you.
"What's this?I thought you respected women?"
"Don't be stupid."

"Tsukasa!Watch your language when we're about to eat!"
His father said sternly,Tsukasa nodded and sat next to you,you waved at Amane as he came walking down the stairs,he sat down next to his father.
"What are we eating?"
You whispered to Tsukasa,he smiled and whispered back to you,
"Mom's making donuts and muffins!I can't wait!"

"Your mom's a great cook!"
"I know."
Tsukasa said proudly,he threw himself onto his bed and stretched tiredly,
"Want to read some comics?"
He asked while yawning,
"Wanna take a nap?"
"Nah!Let's go outside and play!"
"Ok then."

Tsukasa took your hand and ran downstairs and outside into the bright,blinding sun.He tripped over backwards and fell down,laughing as he grazed his elbows.You sweat dropped at his excitement,
"How can you have so much energy!?Your only thirteen!"
"I know!Lets play hide and seek!"
"A g a i n v e r y c h i l d i s h."

But you didn't mind,he was your friend and you adored his excitement at the mention of games.
"Ok!Do you want to hide first?"
"Nope!You go hide and I'll count to fifty!You better go hide before I find you!"
You ran off into the bushes surrounding the house as Tsukasa turned around,making sure to cover his eyes.
"1,2,3. . ."
You found a satisfactory hiding spot until you opene the foliage to see a group of rabbits in there,sleeping.Your heart swelled with adoration at the furry animals and quickly scurried away to find a new spot.
"11,12,13,14. . ."

Half an hour later,you ducked underneath the porch of the house where there was a gap just big enough for you to squeeze into.You ignored the dark draping feeling and crept in deeper,shuddering as spider webs tickled your skin.
"43,44,45,46,47,48,49 aaannddd 50!Ready or not,here I come~"
Tsukasa called out.You giggled as he trekked past the house a few times and gulped as he looked through all the places you had tried.

You stopped laughing as something snaked around your ankle,gripping your shoes really tightly,you eeped and turned to swat away at what you thought was a possum but you couldn't move.You started to panic as the thing pulled you in deeper,as you got closer,you heard a voice speaking to you,
"I've never tried humans before-I'll send my thanks and regards to Tsukasa kun."
"LET GO OF ME PLEASE!TSUKASA KUN HELP ME!"

Your pleading cries echoed to the bushes Tsukasa was standing in,his ears pricked as he turned around,dread prickling his body in a cold sweat.
"Don't tell me.Oh for the love of-"
He ran at the speed of light back to the house and ducked into the gap,crawling in and cried out when he saw you getting pulled in deeper,he scrambled over,ignoring the fallen floor boards that cut his knees and arms.
"(Name san)!Grab my hand!"
In a leap of adrenaline to reach your friend,you reached out and held his cold hand.Tsukasa pulled you forward,tears falling down his face,
"LET GO OF HIM!MY FRIEND IS'NT YOUR FOOD!"

You saw daylight,but you were too scared to comprehend what had happened,you laid on the grass,shivering and crying as Tsukasa sat next to you,huffing and puffing to catch his breath.
"WHAT.WAS.THAT!?AND WHY DID IT SAY YOUR NAME!?"
Tsukasa recoiled at your anger but he knew you had every right to be mad at him,but he was catching his breath at the moment.He coughed a few times and then jumped to you,hugging you very tightly.

"I'm so sorry (name san),it's. . .an apparition,one of those ghost things at our school.I found it here when I was four years old.I've been feeding it things from the garden since.It mistook you for something else.I'm so sorry.Please forgive me,I didn't mean for such a thing to happen to you.I promise you I would never hurt you.I promise."
