Hanako x (any gender recovering) reader-someone to live for

If your confused so basically the reader was dying but now they've gotten better but they are recovering and sometimes they'll have like. . .panic attacks?I cannot evaluate but if you do feel sensitive to this subject then you are more then welcome to skip this.

"So your out of the hospital now?How does it feel?"
"Can you still not breathe?"
"How was it like in the surgery rooms?"

That's all you heard,and it was frankly quite annoying.You wanted to move on from your sickness but you couldn't,the after effects were not pretty.Your lungs felt heavy and hurt all the time,the air felt dizzy and cold all the time.The doctor said you'd get over it.

But you were kindly sent a reminder every day from seeing your aspirator and your sleeping pills that you were still sick,in fact the same sick that Hanako had told you about.And it wasn't a kidney stone.An agonising pain that seemed to close your lungs in and made it hard to breathe.

Your pain had caused your insomnia which had lead to your asthma attacks.(ok chill Eddie kapsrak I'm joking I know it's not funny)which caused a lot of problems for you.You dragged yourself to the bathrooms to relax with your friends and stopped dead when you turned the corner and saw Hanako's brother sitting in the middle of the hallway,murdering some Mokke.

You silently turned around and went to walk away and mentally groaned when Tsukasa called your name,
"(Name san)!Hello!"
You swore under your breath and turned around,not bothering to fake a smile.
"What is it now?"
"How rude!How are you by the way?I heard you were decommissioned from the hospital last week.How are you feeling?"

"F-fine.My chest hurts sometimes b-but-"
"Oh!That reminds me of that bug that Amane caught when he was little.It almost killed him you know!Mom thought he was gunna die!You could've to y'know if you weren't careful."
"T-Tsukasa kun. . .I don't like it when people mention a-about me d-d-"
"Dying~"

There it was,you couldn't breathe.Your lungs started to close up again but you knew that it was all just in your head,your dread grew as you rummaged through your bag but couldn't find your aspirator,you knelt on the floor and upended the whole thing.

Tsukasa watched with wonder and smirked at your growing panic.He stood up and walked over to you,
"Watcha lookin' for?"
"None of your business!"
You snapped at him angrily and you sighed in relief as you heard approaching footsteps that you recognised.
"(Name san)?What's going on here?"
You turned to Hanako and quickly clutched your head as it stung painfully.Hanako glided to your side and and glared at Tsukasa,
"Where is it?"

"Fine~"
Tsukasa dropped the aspirator in front of you and glided away,grinning mischievously as he did.Hanako sighed and knelt next to you as you tearfully caught your breath hastily.
"I'm sorry about him,I promise he doesn't hate you or anything.He's just like that with everyone-(name san)!?Calm down he's gone.It's ok!"

He hesitated and then hugged you warmly,you slowly calmed down as the pain in your head and chest disappeared and sighed shakily as Hanako stroked your head,comforting you and gently shushed you.
"Remember what Tsuchigamori taught you?Breathe slowly.You'll only build up more panic if you do panic.You can breathe easy now.I'll protect you."

He stood up and helped you up,he helped you clean up the disarray of books and papers from your bag and you both laughed as you both cracked corny jokes.
"Sorry I pulled you away from Nene Senpai."

"It's totally fine I promise!I want to help you when these things happen.I can relate after all."
You held his hand and smiled at him,Hanako smiled back and gave you the bag.

"I'll get through it,I won't die from a little bug.Your someone I chose to live for Hanako san!"
Hanako blushed,flattered by your sweet words.You gasped as he suddenly hugged you again,raising an eyebrow as he laughed,
"That's a sappy thing to say (name san)!I'm not complaining though.Your a tough kid,I can tell that your not going to die anytime soon."
