Nick, Boris and I got teamed up for a little presentation at Literature class. We were supposed to interview each other on our goals in the near future.

I had no idea what my goal would be. So i decided to be the one interviewing Nick and Boris.

Me and Boris were sitting at Nick's desk, notepads in hand. Instead of focusing on my assignment though, i ended up staring at Minak. He had his back to me, talking with his own group of Alon and Valdirene. He was leaning back, a hand behind his head. He looked kinda hot like that, his muscles bulging.

I almost drooled.

"Caz?"

"Wha, oh uh, sorry, yeah, what?"

The recess bell rang a few moments after the last group finished their presentation.  I wasn't paying any attention to them though. The only thing on ny mind was how Minak was staring at me while my group did our presentation.

He had this, neutral expression on his face, almost bored looking.

Whatever expression he had on, he was staring at me, me in particular. When there was both Boris and Nick to be staring at, he chose me.

Does that mean something?

I snapped out of my thoughts when Boris tapped me on my shoulder "hey man, its break time"

"He's been acting like a lovestruck preschooler all day, like jesus christ motherfucker pull yourself together"

I glared at Nick, and then just sighed and stood, following them. "You promised you'd come with me while i go ask Minak about his feelings towards me" i muttered at Nick. He nodded "ofcourse man, you can count on me"

I brought pizza with me at recess today, as usual. Pizza and some chocolate milk. Me, Nick, and a few of his friends sat in the far corner, peacefully having our food. I stole glances at Minak every now and then, sitting somewhere in the center of the mess hall. He was sipping on a banana milk carton, scrolling through his phone. The others at his table were laughing and fooling around, while he sat quiet. I didnt realize i was staring until he glanced back at me, his lips slightly twitched into a sneer.

I quickly covered my face. One of Nick's friends hooted, "someone's in loooooove"
"Shut up man"

"Admit it, you're one lovestruck bitch"
"Who's he in love with anyway?"

Nick abruptly nodded towards Minak. The others reacted, very, i dont fucking know. They looked shocked. "Him?"

"Impossible!"

"Does he even like you, Caz?"

I rolled my eyes and stuffed the whole slice of pizza into my mouth, then dropped my head onto the table.

A few minutes later Nick frantically started tapping on my shoulder. "What nowwwuh-"
I glanced up at..

"Hey"

I looked around, Nick and the others weren't here anymore. I was alone, and the person who tapped my shoulder was...
Minak.

"You asleep?"

"Uh, yeah, im tired" i almost stammered, but i didnt. And i was proud of myself for that.

I expected a fist to smash into my nose but instead, his smooth, deep voice asked me to meet him at class in a few minutes. Recess didnt end till twenty more minutes, so..
I wonder what he's up to.

I had my heart in my throat when he left, leaving me speechless. Is it happening?
Just as he left, Nick and his friends came back to our table. I gave them a 'wtf' look, "you guys keep leaving me"

"Yeah he's fucking intimidating man, not like we can just sit here and chill when we see him coming over here"

"I hate y'all"

I ran over to class after dumping my milk packet into the trash. Ofcourse, Minak was leaning on the wall at the back of class, inspecting his nails. I frowned in confusion, then walked towards him, my legs feeling a bit weak.

Was i gonna die?

Should i run?

"Caz.."

I looked towards him so suddenly i swear my neck could've snapped. "Yeah?"

"Im sorry about yesterday, it was entirely a misunderstanding. I did give Alon what he deserved, as you can see, the bandaid on his cheek."

Huh, i honestly didnt notice at all.

"But anyway, im guessing he already told you about..." He trailed off, looking away.
And i swear i saw his cheeks turn a faint shade of pink.

"You like me.." i finished his sentence for him. We stood there in silence for god knows how long, just staring at each other's faces, trying to process what was happening.

Before we realized it, the bell rang again, and i quickly ran back to my seat, took out a text book and skimmed through the pages, not even knowing what text book i took out. I was that distracted, but like.

Fuck-

"Heyy, fill me in" Nick dragged his desk over to mine and sat down Infront of me. I sighed and looked him in the eyes.

"Im as suprised as you are"
